"Come after me, I come after you"

Debates

@Suzianne
It was not a threat, it was a promise.

@Metal-Brain
You act like Trump is going to grab an AR15 and come in shooting.
Trump is WAY too much of a coward to do ANYTHING like that himself.
He says that so his footsoldiers will do the actual intimidation.
Just like a mob boss.
Just like YOUR boss Putin, you would never see HIM grabbing a rifle and charging into Ukraine.

Witness tampering.

He was warned about this at his arraignment.

He simply cannot keep his fat mouth closed.

This video is a very interesting piece by MSNBC, which I normally avoid but the video is pretty informative. The prosecution requested an order-of-protection blocking Trump from sharing names of witnesses on social media so as not to intimidate them.

@sonhouse
We will see how it all plays out in court. The first amendment is on trial.

Sure they can.
Ha. Sue Biden speaks of integrity!!!!!!!

The public will know regardless. The issue is that Trump wants to obstruct justice by threatening witnesses.

Magite zombies think there is nothing wrong with Trump intimidating witnesses.
I want to remind them what that means, what he has already done in the past and will continue into the future unless he is stopped:

https://www.reuters.com/investigates/special-report/usa-election-threats-georgia/

Remember THAT disgusting situation he caused? Does the name Ruby Freeman mean ANYTHING to them?

Because of Trump's groundless charges those women have lived through hell.

THAT is what he wants to do to any potential witness to his lies and crimes.

Moonbus, your comments omit what is being crashed down on top of Donald Trump.
Biden recently said 'We have to demonstrate that he does not get power , that he does not become president again'. These are marching orders for Merritt Garland, you see. Whatever it takes. Commonly known as weaponizing. Keep out the person that you are scared of. Put him in jail. Pu ...[text shortened]... ut to respond that 'I cannot put myself in his place!'. Her debating technique improves every day.
What is happening to Donald Trump is simply accountability. Grand juries have heard enough evidence to determine there is more than one case to answer. Trump is terrified that the witnesses to be called, people who were "in the room", will speak the truth about what happened. That's why he's lashing out, threatening people with vague 'consequences' if they testify -- that's assuming he's in a position to mete out consequences!

@AverageJoe1
Pick "STRENGTH"? You really think Trump, a COWARD who NEVER does his own 'retribution' but hands that off to his buddies, whom will be thrown under the bus any time he needs to feel strong.
Sure. Strong. Did you think he was strong kissing Putin's ass in public in Helsinki? That was STRENGTH?
Just what the HELL makes you think talking bluster like a mob boss, demanding personal loyalty, kiss my ring or you are my enemy? This is strength?

He asked Comey for loyalty to TRUMP and Comey said my loyalty is to the constitution and two days later he was fired.
THIS IS STRENGTH? It is COWARDICE.
You tell us you earned a college degree but you can't read more than a sentence or two before you get totally bored and refuse to for instance read the indictment?
Just someone's opinion? No, it was full of testimony from his own picks, high office folks who saw just how weak a person Trump really is, throwing temper tantrums, spaghetti on the walls when he doesn't get his way like a recalcitrant 10 year old?
THIS IS WHAT YOU THINK STRENGTH IS?
The only book he has by his bedside table is Mein Kampf because he does not read ANYTHING, gets bored and loses concentration when in a long interview and you think this is STRENGTH.
I also notice you have no answer to the behavior of Trump against an individual, Ruby Freeman just doing her job but he weaponized her IN PUBLIC and his STUPID foot soldiers go after her tooth and nail, blaring through amps at her house and harassing her and her daughter for months on end and you think this is strength.
THIS IS MOB BOSS assigning tasks to his underlings.
This is 180 degrees opposite of STRENGTH and you are clearly too stupid to see it.

He did not threaten anybody. "Come after" can mean anything. He could also mean anyone. Who is he talking about?

Vague. That means you cannot pin anything on him for what he said.
Too vague. He could mean his dry cleaners for all you know. Prove he is not unhappy with a stain on his suit.

Really?

It’s a semi-veiled threat against the prosecution.
And you can sit there, attempting to believe it was about anything else. It wasn’t.

It’s a disgusting threat and if I was the judge, I’d throw the fukker in prison for it.
It’s like the bloody maffia. Good god. Even attempting to wave it away, as you are doing now, is disgustingly stupid.

What sort of precedent is this setting? Oh, you don’t like the law coming down on you, feel free to threaten people?

He is an ex-president. He could be the next president and you have to prosecute him with that threat over your head? Ridiculous.

The man should be in jail and he needs to be zipped until the court case is over.

@Mott-The-Hoople
You POS Trumpite magite zombie, you don't read the indictment and all you think it is is about the first amendment?
What a pathetic imitation of a human being you really are. Tell me, how big is your trailer? full width? Does it leak much in the rain?
You REFUSE to actually read the indictment because you are so profoundly programmed by Trump you actually think he is STRONG.

I already went over that in another post, he is a weakling and a coward as well has having been brought up in a racist family PROVEN racism in action by his dad refusing to allow blacks to rent in his buildings and besides that your god king Trump sucked out near half BILLION from daddy to cover his obvious business failures, like he couldn't even keep a frigging CASINO running which wen belly up because of his stupidity in business but you think he is some kind of genius BECAUSE HE SAID SO, sure, he said I am a stable genius and folks like you lap it up and say OF COURSE he is a genius, just look at The Apprentice.

He didn't say anything about the prosecution. That gives him plausible deniability.
Besides, he could be talking about indicting Smith. Do you mean threatening to get Smith indicted like Al Dershowitz suggested?

You can believe anything you want. You cannot prove it.
