Vaccinated people suffer far less severe symptoms. Indeed, most double-vaccinated people are asymptomatic. This does mean they don’t know if they’re spreading the disease or not. This makes it, at the moment, important to isolate and quarantine if you’ve never tested positive, but people you have met have.
Not for yourself, but for the unvaccinated people and people with deficient immune systems.
And this will change when either everyone has had the disease or that everyone is vaccinated.
Until then it’s 2 things:
- managing the disease (making sure the health systems keep functioning).
- a race before an even nastier mutation comes along which ignores the measures taken so far.

FALSE! That will only change when everyone has had the disease, NOT when everyone is vaccinated. The vaccinated people still spread the virus. A 100% vaccination rate will not result in herd immunity until everyone has been infected.
