@soothfast saidSo what? I fell off of a cow once. Knocked the wind out of me but I lived.
She fell off a horse.
@sh76 saidI didn't spend time reading the article, but my initial thoughts also made me hesitant to post. I think the Covid pandemic was real, but I also believe numbers were probably inflated some. That is based on conversations I've had with medical staff and also a recognition of how people respond to financial incentives. So, I'm like, maybe 800,000 died and not a million. That doesn't drastically change the nature of the pandemic itself.
Okay, I'm debating on whether to post this because I really don't want to come off as anti-vaccine. I think the covid vaccine was a wonderful thing and saved a lot of lives. I also think it's a good idea for many people (though the jury's very much still out on children).
That said, reading that study makes me want to look at the calendar to check if it's April 1.
https:// ...[text shortened]... that underlies it.
Come on, folks. @wildgrass You're a reasonable fellow. Explain this one to me.
And it seems like if we're all here for intellectually stimulating conversation, there ought to be room for a nuanced middle ground that is neither anti-vax nor quick to accept anything we're told by "experts".
Also, there are financial incentives in the pharmaceutical industry and they have a lot of money to tilt the balance somewhat. If we don't trust a climate study conducted by Exxon, we shouldn't be so quick to trust the pharmaceutical companies in studying the vaccines. (Likewise, we shouldn't naïve to the fact that with billions of dollars to throw around, the government might not be as objective as we'd want them to be).
Personally, I got two shots and a booster. My oldest son joined the Navy, so he'd have had to get the shot anyway. My youngest son got the shot too, but knowing what I know now, I wouldn't have taken the chance with him.
When it comes to projecting how many lives saved, even if they had cited a seemingly real study, that would have low credibility with me. Sure, the vaccine probably saved a bunch of lives. Probably there were more adverse reactions than is admitted by those in authority, but not nearly as many as is typically believed by "anti-vaxxers".
@metal-brain saidSo what? So why post the link?
So what? I fell off of a cow once. Knocked the wind out of me but I lived.
@techsouth saidFor the 66th time I'm not an anti-vaxxer, not that you made the accusation, it's habit now.

You should take the shot if you believe the lies of goobermint and the mega drug, haha just kidding.
There's only one reason to take the shot, and that is you believe it is beneficial for your health.
Be aware it is an experimental drug, the most devout clotshot true believers cannot dispute this fact, a new treatment takes years of testing to evaluate. It is the greatest medical experiment in human history. It does not protect others, it does not protect you from contracting wuflu. So there's one reason and one reason only to take it, you believe if/when you catch wuflu it wont be as bad as if you didn't take the juice.
You should not take it so you can travel to the US to visit family and friends (requirement finally ended after nearly 3 years), you should not take it to gain entry to a restaurant, you should not take it to go to a music concert, you should not take it because the goobermint is threatening to close your business, you should not take it to get a haircut, you should not take it if the goobermint is threatening your job (and as a consequence your home) you should not take it just because your friends and family took it.
If you do decide to take the juice, you should pay for it.
@metal-brain saidIn the context of the current thread it is fairly clear that you posted a link to a story about a 23-year-old dying as further "evidence" that young people are dying from the Covid vaccines. I don't think I need call you a fool for this, as it stands out like a blinking neon sign. The woman was on a horse that fell, with her under it, and she sustained critical injuries which she succumbed to in a hospital.
So what? I fell off of a cow once. Knocked the wind out of me but I lived.
@metal-brain saidWhat TF were you doing on a cow, you bestial animal molester?
So what? I fell off of a cow once. Knocked the wind out of me but I lived.
@shallow-blue saidI know what I mean, you know what I mean, go have a sooky somewhere else.
"juice".
Your lies are too obvious.

@shavixmir saidInterviewer: "Why isn't covid affecting you people?"
Boring.
The Amish: "We don't have TV."
@shavixmir saidYou've got no argument shag doody,
Talking to yourself again?
That’s what happens when you have no friends, because you’re a complete vvanker.
1/ the juice is experimental, no one can deny this, our world is governed by a phenomena known as time and there has not been enough time to test the juice.
2/ It didn't stop you from getting wuflu. Despite what pollies said at the time, they lied, a blatant lie.
3/ It did not stop you from passing it on. As evidenced by those surrounded by only the clotshotted getting wuflu multiple times in some cases.
4/ It didn't stop you from dying. This outright lie was repeated by fauci, biden and horsefacekuntgoofyNZprimeminister.
