Sen. Rubio Releases Several Hundred Page Report Detailing Origins of COVID, Revealing Details on Wuhan Lab

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), the vice chairman of the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, compiled over the past several years and just released on Tuesday a several hundred page report detailing his investigative findings on the origins of the coronavirus pandemic.

The report, which is available on Rubio’s Senate website, is more than 240 pages long, with another more than 80 pages containing the hundreds of citations made throughout it. The effort is the product of years of research by Rubio, his staff, and outside experts who helped compile the comprehensive investigation into the matter.

The big takeaway from this report (the actual report, not the breitbart political spin machine on the report) is that it's complicated, there's a lot we still don't know, and a lot of the speculation is conspiratorial in nature. The language reeks of confirmation bias and cover your a**, since this politician along with Rand Paul and others were spewing propaganda and misinformation about lab leak within a few months of knowing COVID existed. These guys didn't even know what a virus was. They were just guessing, and we still are....

It is incorrect to say this report reveals COVID origins, because the report does not remotely consider any possibility other than lab leak. Here is Rubio's own conclusion in his report. This reads like a textbook example of confirmation bias outlined in a class on critical thinking.
we do not yet know with complete certainty that a biocontainment failure was responsible for the first human infection of SARS-CoV-2, but what we present below is a substantial body of circumstantial evidence that supports the plausibility of such a scenario.

I'll tell ya, Wildgrass, he spells it out perfectly. He says that "we do not yet know with complete certainty"...

I can't say he worded it wrongly.

It's Breitbart reporters who are misleading here.

In a 329 page report the word "likely" was used 72 times. Yet not one time- not once in the entire report - do they write that lab leak was likely.

Not once. So then why does the breitbart reporter write that and cite this report as its source????

Please explain, Earl.

There's nothing about a cover up in that link. Fauci didn't think the lab leak theory should ne dominating the news because there was incomplete evidence for making that conclusion. It's easy click bait for media to blame Chyna but there was real work being done to test a variety of possible origins.
Ha!

Fauci controlled funding and used it to bribe scientists into changing their story.

Fauci also lied to congress under oath. Why isn't he in prison?

The Biden administration has suspended federal funding to the Wuhan Institute of Virology after the lab failed to provide documents about safety and security measures, according to a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services memo obtained by Bloomberg News.

72% of the IUS death reports in the 33 year history of VAERS are from one vaccine: the COVID-19 vaccine.
