Close borders on the rest of teh world - why do you think that would be such a bad prospect for the rest of the world? What do you think this would deny Western Europe that, given time to adjust to the fact we have to make some stuff ourselves instead of importing it, we couldn't do for ourselves? Do you believe that by cutting yourselves off you would cause more problems for the rest of the world than for yourselves?
