What if it is true that Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene and his daughter's name was Sarah?

I would rather believe this than that he died a virgin aged 32...

Facts have nothing to do with what you would "rather believe".
If you are Christian you should believe much of what you can understand from the Bible. If you are not then you look at the available known history and make your own judgement about what is most likely. However there is very little actual evidence that Jesus even existed in the first place. The only possible explanation for most of the Biblical account is that it is either "inspired writing" and therefore reasonably true and you can forget the marriage story, or that it is the writting of one or possibly two people who definately made up a fairly large portion of it as they got some facts glaringly wrong and could not possibly have known about others without "inspiration"

It was crap!
Foucault's pendulum by Umberto Eco (which covers the same ground and more) is far better.

Da Vinci Code Fact #3:

Take any fictional book that sounds sort of believable and full of conspiracy theory, publish it and advertize it and sooner or latter there will be a large number of people who actually believe it (eg much of the Bible)

No, the existence of Jesus can be debated in this forum, and in a different thread than this one. Everything else can be debated in the Spirituality forum.

Not necessarily. Giving evidence to prove a certain human being actually was a historical person has nothing to do with spirituality. It is history.

Didn't actually think there was anything non-trivial we'd agree on, but this is one.

Da Vinci Code Fact #4

Dan Brown is one of the worst authors I have had the misfortune of reading over the last 10 years and anyone that actually thinks he/this book is good, is in need of blinding.
