@metal-brain saidYou really are a brainwashed idiot, aren't you?
Jocelyn Benson violated state and federal law. The Bureau of Elections manual was an attempt to suppress poll challengers from their lawful duty, their constitutionally protected rights to supervising the election process
Cell phone bans do not prevent people from trying to enter buildings. A rumor on social media could easily cause that. You are bringing up a security issue. Restricting communication does not prevent that.
Just keep parroting what the Epoch Times tells you and ignore what actually happened. The people tried to enter the building because Republican members of the counting board told them to by using their cellphones. Benson's rule aimed to prevent a reoccurrence of that event seems reasonable no matter what some Republican lower court judge says.

Why did they do that?
@no1marauder
Once again, cell phone bans do not prevent people from trying to enter buildings. A rumor on social media could easily cause that. You are bringing up a security issue. Restricting communication does not prevent that.
You are trying to equate cell phones to a security issue. Cell phones do not prevent people from trying to disrupt events. Cell phones do allow people to tell people they saw voter fraud taking place though. Is that what Benson was trying to prevent?
@metal-brain saidTo disrupt the count obviously.

@metal-brain saidHow could you get a rumor on social media from a closed room with no communications devices available?

They are there to count the absentee ballots not use their cellphones to try to get thugs there to stop the counting.
@no1marauder saidWhy did they want to disrupt the count? What happened in there? Did they witness some funny business that alarmed them?
To disrupt the count obviously.
@metal-brain saidGee, what does the Epoch Times say about it?
Why did they want to disrupt the count? What happened in there? Did they witness some funny business that alarmed them?
You're trying to imply some conspiracy theory with absolutely no evidence to support it .................................. as usual. There are legal ways for election counters to dispute results; calling people with the aim of stopping the counts isn't one of them.
@no1marauder saidStop evading my simple question.

Is there a conspiracy of silence about what happened in there? You brought it up. Do you think they did it for no reason at all? What is the reason?
@metal-brain saidBecause they, like you, do not understand how English grammar works?

@metal-brain saidCongrats to the republicans on that win. And the democrats wonder why normal people think that they cheat!
Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson, a Democrat, updated an election manual to impose new restrictions on poll observers and challengers without going through the correct rule making process. Court of Claims Judge Brock Swartzle ruled that Benson’s office must either remove a May manual or amend specific sections that he said violate state and federal law.

I can't get into the second link but I assume it is about a recent law in New York that allowed illegal immigrants
to vote, and once again the judge made the right move, and once again, the democrats show their
propensity to CHEAT in the elections. Like I've said all along, the democratic party is a criminal gang.
@earl-of-trumps saidHow exactly is it "cheating" to pass a public law allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections?

@sonhouse saidAm I reading Sonhouse right? He has said for years...Trump Guilty! Of Everything Under The Sun. by God.
@Earl-of-Trumps
You figure if someone launches a suit like that it MUST be true even though it has not gone through the courts.
What about that pesky detail where they claim INNOCENT TILL PROVEN GUILTY?
This couldn't POSSIBLY be one of those so-called law suits brought by the Trump crowd just to throw shyte in the game, some kind of delaying tactic or some other reason f ...[text shortened]... NEVER be, right? The Trump crowd ONLY tells the truth and NEVER puts in frivolous law suits, right?
But NOW, he ia facetiously saying that the rule of innocence til proven guilty is a pesky detail.
Ohhhhh, Sounhouse.......
@no1marauder saidHere is Marauder agreeing with having non citizens vote.

I will do a thread tomorrow asking for opinions on the issues that the rampaging Dems want. It will make you sick when you seen them all together.
@averagejoe1 saidHow come you idiot right wingers can't answer a simple question?

I thought you were all in favor of local governments making decisions. In this case, it was the NYC legislature deciding that noncitizens could vote but only in local elections. Why shouldn't they be permitted to do so?
@no1marauder saidThe irony. You didn't answer my simple question.
