But they are not being influenced by propaganda to support an insurrection. It is wrong headed Trump supporters that are being influenced by propaganda. They voted for a dictator and it is up to democrats to correct the flawed democratic process that allowed Trump to become democratically elected.
The majority is wrong and the minority must save the world by correcting them. That is their position. And they think that is completely rational. The irony. That is exactly what infuriated them about Trump supporters who believed they knew what a legitimate president is and is not.

For most of human existence, as soon as one tribe managed to gain control of political power, another tribe started working busily to overthrow them. This is apparently the way you think. Very traditional.
But in America, in 1776, we got rid of that thinking. You are a couple centuries out-of-date, but don't worry. You can catch up!
Trump was voted out of office and staged an insurrection to stay in power, which failed. However, under our Constitution, this action barred him from ever seeking Federal office again. Not because we don't like him. Because our PRINCIPLES say so.
So Trump is not the President, he is a Pretender. America doesn't have a President right now. Don't worry, even a headless chicken can run around - for awhile.
Democrats will likely just wait this out. That is the sentiment I hear: utter frustration, but also unwillingness to Wreak Total Havoc to fix it. Now THIS one, in his efforts to find SOMETHING to write about, says here that it is normal for a tribe to effort to overthrow another tribe that has gained control. That is what I just read.

Here is a two hour lecture by Stephen Kotkin titled “Trump and Putin - What in the World is Up?” from eight years ago when Trump won the first time:
It’s very long but if you go to 11:14 you will hear Professor Kotkin point out that Trump won fairly, that his voters were a lot of diverse people from a wide range of places in the USA and that they should not be ignored. It is good that their voices are being heard and their votes acknowledged.
Kotkin btw is a lifelong scholar of Stalin specifically and Russia in general and a very wise man and excellent speaker. He is one of the people I listen to very carefully and who greatly influences my views.
