NATO invades countries. Russia has no reason to trust NATO. Russia was promised there would be no NATO expansion and it expanded anyway. If Ukraine was allowed to become neutral Russia would not have invaded. The west expanded NATO anyway and that is NOT neutral. Once again, NATO INVADES COUNTRIES. They are also unprovoked invasions. Libya and Serbia were invaded by NATO to intervene in civil wars. That is what Russia is doing in Ukraine. The neo Nazis were killing ethnic Russians there. That is not a lie.
If our governments can invade Iraq because of WMDs that were never there and get away with it why shouldn't Russia get away with it? Both were unprovoked invasions. Libya too. About one third of Syria as well.

It’s murdering a nation for the crime of self determination that’s why it has to be cut out of the civilised world and spend decades locked in a death spiral with a constantly well armed insurgency whilst its economy is strangled and its population marginalised, its geopolitical future is as a western outpost of Beijing. Actually makes life a lot simpler for NATO and the democratic nations with everyone’s mask off and lines clearly drawn. Russia will not hold Ukraine and Ukraine's unique identity will get stronger whilst Russia becomes an eastern backwater.
