LOL...hypocrites.

how in the hell does one jump to the electoral college in this thread?
They be a liberal, brainwashed into thinking that Thomas Jefferson James Madison Adam Smith et al were wrong with their genius effort to create a process for fair election of Pres and VP!!!!

Ask Suzianne why she wants mob rule instead of voting through the college, when she does not seem to mind representatives (equal number as electors) and senators to vote individually.

I'll ask her. She won't answer. Suzianne, the House and the Senate members each have a private vote. You do not want an elec college with their votes, but you do allow House and Senate do it, and you have not mentioned them. How can you be so selective?

If you ever find a post that you can (selectively) answer, please take notice, and answer?
As a matter of fact, my dear burrito shart, I have directly addressed the topic of this thread of yours twice: Once to take apart your hysterical misinformation about the DHS instructional materials, and once to point out where the real government-orchestrated citizen spy networks exist (i.e. the People's Republic of Texas).

You, in the meantime, have been everything everywhere all at once in this thread, and refuse to muster any rebuttal to my points.

Add "coward" to the list of attributes I've assigned to you.

I ghost this forum on the weekends, so any spitting, frothing, and deflecting you decide to do about all this will go unanswered until next week (if ever).

Well, well, well, Mr Communist, who espouses citizen-spying. Is everyone ready for this dissertaion on Zahlanzi???!?!
Ironic that this article comes out today, showing life in a country where citizens can turn in a neighbor for any reason, and the polica will 99% side with the snitch, imprisoning the innocent neighbor.
I have been to Cuba, seen the flow myself ...[text shortened]... .

i don't have the words to describe just what kind of retarded donkey misses the point this badly, after it being explained in detail beforehand

Why don't you just use plain english, between a certain retired poster and Suzianne, I am gettin wore out. What point did I miss?

Just like there should be no such thing as the Electoral College. Just individual votes. Votes that actually count, unlike living in a red state where my vote never counts because it's "winner takes all". Why should my electoral vote go to someone I never voted for?
there are 538 Electoral votes....but only 270 needed to win. You're right about the "winner takes all" concept. It's very rigged and needs to be abolished . Popular vote should decide the outcomes of all elections. (assuming it's done fairly)...

Rural (Wyoming, etc) would be underrepresented. Surely you are not for that? If there is a lot of surplus to spend, NY will use it on subway systems in NYC, when WY will need barbed wire.
Aw man, WY will be ignored.... You don't see that??

The EC does not allow higher populated areas (say, CA or NY) to take advantage of being able to always vote for the candidate, thereby underrepresenting the other rural areas of the nation. It safeguards the interests of smaller states.
About 6 states in the USA could alone decide all presidents.

Many people, like Suzianne, just fail to grasp this. Look again, please.

PS: For the record, all premises and analogies presume legality prevails. There is no sense saying 'if it is done fairly'. Stuff like that can bog down posts. Unless, or course, you are writing about specific illegalities, like the actions of Hunter.

I said the popular vote should prevail...meaning one man, one vote. regardless of which state you're in. If you get the most votes, you win... Assuming the voter is an American citizen ...

I know you said that. You are thus saying that about six of the states in this country with huge populations will make the deciding factor in the elections. Look it up I’m not gonna type it all out. FYI there are 500,000 people in Wyoming. There are about 90 million people in California. You cannot see the forest for the trees. Or, you don’t want to. So you are a mob person. Welcome to the forum. But they don’t need any more of you.

Everything you have said here is a lie, you sad little thing.

Taking the "scripted scenarios" displayed in the article at face value, they're clearly nothing like you say. One scenario:

Funny, I don't see "Report Ann to the Department of Homeland Security" among the available choices.
No, you are lying.

Joe Average cited this quote in his post:
“In terms of morals there is no such thing as 'state'. Just men. Individuals. Each responsible for his own acts.”

-Robert Heinlein

He can post this and yet he still thinks the EC is a good idea. Hypocrite.

How can you possibly think the EC is going to save your Neanderthal ideas?

Population (not all of whom vote):
39.24 million v. 578,803

Electoral College votes:
55 v. 3

Wyoming is still beat by every measure by California. The difference is that you would throw out all of the votes not agreeing with the majority vote. I want my vote to freaking mean something.

One man, one vote. That really scares you, doesn't it?

Get serious.

I'm not even Republican.

You don't have to be a republican to be a fascist. You want to censor the truth and promote lies just like on The View. They think the truth is a lie just like you do.
