Unfortunately, he got as far as the Supreme Court before he was stopped. If the EC had done its job and kept such a dangerous man from assuming the office, we wouldn't have had the insurrection on Jan. 6. Thankfully, the Republic survived that trial, but it wouldn't have happened at all had the EC performed its prime function of keeping these fascists as far from the pinnacle of power as possible.
