They have some biodegradable throw away nappies now, they break down in a fraction of the time of normal disposables and are on the Nature Babycare website.
I've used terrys nappys for all of my childern for the first few months till I couldn't bare the bucket aroma any longer or it got to winter and they were in the drier so long I reasoned that the electricity used was balancing the enviorment saved- and went for the paper. Also here (southern England) it's not easy finding shops that sell the pant sizes as they grow. There have been shops but they find it hard to make a good profit and they don't stay. Not enough people chose the terrys for there to be good money to be made in it.
