It doesn't look like they do. The House votes 229 - 202 mostly along party lines to subpoena Steve Bannon; Bannon tells the House to go and jump in a lake, the House refers the matter to the Justice Department, now Attorney General Merrick Garland sits on it day after day like a mother hen warming an egg, knowing full well that the clock is ticking on the House investigation, and that Bannon's testimony under oath is important. Is this how we deal with Congressional subpoena's, we just run out the clock? If so, then why bother issuing a subpoena?

The electorate punished Trump and the Republicans severely for their disregard of the constitution and their abuse of executive power. Perhaps they should be trusted to reward decency in the White House.
