Here's the catch though.
Teams can terminate players contract whenever they want to. Is it so wrong for Terrell to ask for more money? The contract he signed is basically a 2 year deal anyway. Without TO, no way the Eagles would have made the super bowl.

When the team has the advantage they use it without hesitation; TO thinks he has the advantage so he is using it. It's bizness, stop crying about it.

He needs to grow up and act like a man, honor his contract...or go flip burgers somewhere, I don't care. If he's your hero fine, but I certainly wouldn't want him as a role model for kids.

Oh, and I never said I don't like the game, I'm just sick of some of the players and other celebrities. So if it's okay with you I'll pick and choose who or what I watch.
Originally posted by chaswrayYou're being ridiculous; why should TO care about being a role model to kids??? If the Eagles want to fire him for trying to gain economic leverage, the same as the Eagle owners do, let 'em. As far as I can see he is acting like a man; he's trying to maximize his earnings. He ain't my hero, but if you're going to have a capitalist economic system what's good for the goose is good for the gander. If you're sick of players and celebrities but not of team and studio owners, then I hope you're a multibillionaire like they are.

The Eagle's front office or Owens? The team and studio owners are asinine for paying out that kind of money for something that's in the end, only entertainment. It's not food, housing or clothing and no one needs it to survive!
