@sonhouse saidAl Gore didn't try to overturn the election in 2000 because he believed (correctly) the voters and by extension the electoral college dictate who will be in the Whitehouse, not the Vice President. Mike Pence did the right thing in bowing to will of the voters, and not Donald Trump.
Who here thinks Pence should have obeyed orders to stop the election in its tracks and have Trump as POTUS again?
If that is so, that the VP has that power, why didn't Al Gore do the same thing in 2000?
