Duration of the Epidemic

I am not sure if everyone is on the same page here, at least not in this forum.

What do you believe will cause the end of this first round of the Epidemic? Is it that a certain amount if the populatiin will get infected then the virus will magically stop spreading, then magically start up again?

Experts are predicting 3 waves of this Coronavirus.

Even if we did nothing and the virus spread unchecked, it would still have 3 cycles with two cycles free of the Coronavirus. Obviously social distancing is not going to change the basic nature of the cycle.

So what is going to bring this first round to a stop?

To start with, how about creating jobs to make PPE and ventilators instead of forcing people to go without a job and funding massive stimulus packages that erroneously give money to the such things as the abortion industry? Then when the US has enough sell it abroad.

There will be a never ending demand now.

From this I would say we are looking at a winter virus.

Which theory better fits the three cycle model being predicted by the experts?

Is it the spread until 80 percent of the population gets it? Or is it that the Coronavirus is a winter virus expected to go dormant over the summer months?

If there is another round, it would come in from outside, i.e., places in the world that had not reached the immunity threshold.
