Wow!
But what’s really bothering me is Trumps blatant intention to suppress the vote in the next election. Surely those clever founding fathers would have anticipated a future sitting president using his executive powers to keep himself in office?

No. It's Twitter twitches. Trump does not have the power to regulate how individual states vote. His fear mongering about mail voting is a lie. My home state and many others have voted by mail for a long time now with very few problems. Donald Trump and his little minions want to suppress voting as much as possible, because they know high voter turnout favors Democrats.
But it’s a relief to know he cannot actually do it.
