Your own government doesn't have free speech. They say what Trump wants them too or their in his bad book or get Fired, many of them are afraid to speak, but more and more are starting to speak out. I think it is just a matter of time before they start voicing the displeasure with King Trump and Puppet Vance and lets not forget President Musk, who is ripping apart Departments and Agencies. Best part he wasn't even elected he was appointed by King Trump!!!

I'm not a liberal. I appreciate you are insulated in your American bubble, but that doesn't really mean the same thing across the pond.

The UK has a much healthier approach to freedom of speech. People should be free (and are) to say what they want, even if it is not something we agree with. But freedom of speech has responsibilities and limitations. (It really does). So while I have the right to stand up and say what I think, I don't have the right, for example, to stand up and incite people to violence.

Take, for instance, in a tennis game at Wimbledon. Does a spectator in the crowd have the overriding right to stand up and shout racist abuse at one of the players unchallenged? Of course not. They neither have the right to ruin the game for other spectators or to freely abuse one of the players. In this example they will be removed from the crowd by security and no doubt banned from reattending. And rightly so.

You guys elevate freedom of speech above other rights of equal value and that is your problem, not ours.

I'm glad you introduce the word 'dignity' here - with dignity and respect Ukraine wouldn't be in their present situation. The two giants have decided to ignore both attributes.

Well, Trump owes Putin for winning the White House in 2016.

And I view it as Trump siding with Russia. America has not sided with Russia except for some Trumpublicans who mimic everything Trump does.

Soon after Putin invaded Ukraine in 2015, there were some Republicans, some on this very forum, saying "What has Putin done wrong? Nothing." They were already all in for him. This is because on the campaign trail in 2015, Trump continually praised Putin as "a great leader". So naturally all the Trumpers automatically loved Putin too. This is how deep the sickness runs.

Just like Trump, you are quick to criticize how others handle the hard job of governing, then, once he gets started trying to govern his way out of a paper bag, he fails. That's worth remembering.

Remember how he was going to fix the high prices on Day One? Well, he 'fixed' them, alright. Fixed them in stone.

He needs to quit criticizing how others with more acumen handle things when he can't handle anything.
