Mhmmmm… meditate on this I will.

No. Wait. Option 2 is far more likely.

3) They're living on Anti-Earth, which orbits the sun 180-degrees opposite us so we never see them, but sometimes the dimensional portals open and people or WhatsApp messages slip through to the other side and get confused. Happens all the time. They don't have global warming, only we do.

I like a gamble so I’m gonna jump on option two
Of course some physicists believe that both options could be true as long as we don’t look.

Given Regrexit, option 2 is not merely obvious, but undeniable.

Frankly, we should send all English ex-pats back to Florida where they belong.

First of all, where are these temperature readings coming from? If they are all from the city then it is probably the heat island effect. That would mean the heatwaves are confined to the city, not unpaved rural areas. Has the hottest place on earth had a record high temperature this summer? Answer those questions and get back to me.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Furnace_Creek,_California

If temps are higher this summer in rural areas does it have anything to do with solar activity?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/theres-something-weird-going-sun-143549823.html

I doubt these heat waves are much worse than in the recent past. The earth is warming (naturally), but the increase is only less than 1/10 of one degree Fahrenheit per year. It is impossible to notice that tiny bit of difference. To suggest people can notice a difference in temps that tiny is absurd.

It is important to not forget it is the middle of summer. It is the warmest time of the year in the northern hemisphere. Of course people are going to notice it is hot in summer. How many record high temps have been recorded this summer and where?

If it was the middle of winter there would be bitter cold snaps. The corporate news media could manipulate people into thinking our winters are getting colder too if they reported it in late January. All they would have to do is report the cold snaps, blame global cooling and do it over and over again. Repetitiveness will fool 70% of the people easily. Facts be damned.

https://online.ucpress.edu/collabra/article/6/1/38/114468/Repetition-Increases-Perceived-Truth-Even-for

People have a huge flaw that can be easily manipulated. Repetitive propaganda can brainwash people with even absurd assertions. Even when they should know better.
Examine the facts instead of accepting repetitive rumors without all the facts.

Again, can you rule out the heat island effect? If all the temp readings are from airports or cities you cannot. Big red flag. If cities are experiencing high temps they should do something about it. Plant more trees in the city. Paint sidewalks and other concrete white. There are things city dwellers can do about the heat island effect and the best time to do it was yesterday, so do it NOW!

Is that why Phoenix is in the middle of a record 21 days in a row of over 110F high temps?

Stuff your "cooler-than-usual" summer.

option 3)

The guys are making some very local observations.

Sampling is important, the bigger the sample, the more reliable medain and mean, buut also the more likely extremes in both directions.

Air temperatures or ground temperatures?
They were supposed to measure air temps, but took ground temps instead. Anything to lie to you. They duped you.
