The real issue in DeSantis’ legislation is that he doesn’t want to feel blamed for what his White ancestors might’ve done to Black people. But he can’t just come out and say that, now, can he? Naw, that would be too trivial. So he inflates it, to anger a certain voter-segment and play them for fools.
