Sounds more like a Libyan that went to Afghanistan to train and kill the infidels and found out that his battleship mouth overloaded his rowboat ass. I agree though that they have held him long enough. They should try him in a military tribunal and if found innocent sent back to Afghanistan or promptly shot if he is found guilty.

There is a strong movement in Brighton to get Omar released.
Should British residents be treated differently from British citizens?

Seems kind of dumb to assume otherwise.

He has been in solitary confinement for most of his time there. Sounds like Omar needs to practice a little "good behavior" in order to avoid such treatment...too bad he can't get to the local enlisted club in Guantanamo Bay...on Tuesday nights, it's "quarter
beer", and all the "randy" Navy babes are on the hunt...but it looks like Omar is only going to be getting the "short", or will it be the "long", end of the "stick".....I'm sure there is a reason why he is detained in Guantanamo, as I simply cannot believe that my government would incarcerate an "innocent" man.....
😉.....😲

Remember he was in Afghanistan before Sept 11. He didn't like the war so he left and continued his travels through Pakistan.
I for one certainly prefered travelling through Kashmir more than down the west coast of the united states (in January).
I would like to visit Afghanistan too.
Originally posted by invigorateI'm sure the Kashmir is beautiful and maybe one day you can travel there without worrying about your life. Walking around there now is akin to sticking your prick in the door and betting you can move it before someone slams it shut. Do you feel lucky?

Originally posted by invigoratewhen you do get to Afganistan, be sure to thank the US for your life. You see, your moniker(the kissing lips) alone would be enough to warrant a brutal beating if not murder in the old Taliban led Afganistan. I shudder to think how else you might have incited their rage(and insecurity).
