Let’s say you are correct and Trump is a fascist who wanted to set up a dictatorship. Hooray, he was caught, and will face the music. The coup is all over…, why do you say in this post that it will negatively affect our lives, since it is not happening? Do you see how confusing you liberals are?. I am going to play golf I need some air.
He has allies in state governments, from legislators to governors, all ready to do his bidding.

God help us if Kari Lake becomes the next governor of Arizona.

Almost every Republican now thinks they have to lie like Trump to get elected.

Manchin is a conservative Democratic from a red state; his vote is needed by Dems to pass legislation so Dems have to agree with what this conservative wants to have any hope of getting things done. That includes compromises Dems don't like.

More proof conservatives ruin everything.
My favorite book title about #45's administration
''Everything Trump Touches Dies........''

Gloss over this. We are going to be hurting. Imagine, taxing and spending during an inflation crisis. Instead of reducing inflation (Jesus...), these are the real particulars, to jar your preserves. A bit of Suzianne's 'fear' for you.

Dear Joe - Taxing the richest companies a minimum of 15% will have a negligible effect on the economy. The DJIA is up nearly 4,000 points from 6 months ago. In addition, spending on our badly eroding infrastructure is simply good sense maintenance. The folks on Wall Street don't seem to share your wild fears. Maybe they know a few things you don't. 🙂

Do not the dems have allies in state govt ,, etc ? And climate fanatics to boot? Yes, you have many more factions than we do. They do the bidding of your leaders, so what are you saying.? Is there a difference, each party having their allies.
You can do better, Sue

It's all peaks and troughs. Nothing's constant and the swings are predictable. By the time everyone gets excited about a trend it's probably past its peak but that won't stop people in the news cycle banging on about it.

You are pretty-much right, just a bunch of mishmash, we need some more activity, some real brain twisters.

"The price index for all consumer goods and services was unchanged over the month. And the annual rate of inflation in July edged down to 8.5% from 9.1% in June, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics in a report issued Wednesday."

Inflation IS coming down. Not a waterfall down but down nonetheless.
That is not because of the "Inflation Reduction Act". That is because the price of oil has come down some. That is pretty much the only reason.

How will the "Inflation Reduction Act" reduce inflation?

If these turkeys even had an answer, they would not know how to write a sensical paragraph about it. Mainly, because it is impossible.
Some folks will ride it out. Tesla is now up almost $300 from 7 weeks ago, but I digress.

Only because government is going to subsidize electric vehicles. Did Paul Pelosi invest in Tesla in just the right time?

So Biden fist bumping MBS had intended beneficial consequences?

Any fool and their dog should have been investing Tesla for the past 18 months. Investing in Tesla has to be the biggest no-brainer in the market at the moment.

@AverageJoe1
So you are ok with someone with obvious legal problems being named POSTMASTER GENERAL, for instance? You must think that is WAY ok. I guess you would never even KNOW about the legal trouble DeVoss is in since all you watch is the ultrarightwingnut shows like FUKKER Carlsen or Alex Jones.
Are you ok with DeVoss destroying hundreds of mail sorting machines which does that job thousands of times faster than any human and did that BECAUSE Trump hated mail in votes?
He is almost job proof to boot.

I guess since he was a Trump pick that makes him an angel.

Or the two top civilians Trump appointed to be his pet dogs in the Pentagon and just so strangely not many people were notified when Trump waited 3 hours to say or do anything on Jan 6.

Or his so-called cabinet folks like Moscow Mitch's wife now in deep doo doo legally and others on that cabinet.
Sure he can pick whomever he want's but he went out of his way to find people as corrupt as he was himself.

For instance, the AG is SUPPOSED to be independent of ANY of the branches of government but he got Barr, another pet dog doing his bidding, he says jump and Barr goes HOW HIGH SIR? Is this high enough?
And did is bidding for YEARS till he said there was no fraud that would change the vote that voted him out of office, Barr said and I quote, IT WAS BULLSHYTE AND I SAID SO TO HIS FACE and strangely enough a week later he was fired no matter HOW much other crap Barr pulled to save his boss embarrassment. Which just goes to show how much of a MAFIA this particular DON was. Kiss my ring FOREVER or be my ENEMY forever.
