I don’t know the answer to your question.

As far as I’m concerned, the only good neo-nazi is a dead neo-nazi.
And they shouldn’t be quoting anyone.

If I had to wager a guess (with very little knowledge on German law, but taking the EU perspective into account), I would presume “intent” would play a large part.

If one is argueing on an academic scale about getting numbers as exact as possible, with no agenda of slipping into denying the holocaust ever happened, I would assume that it’s allowed.

But it is a serious issue in Germany.
It stems, as I wrote, from a desire of “never again” and the way they’ve managed this is by taking full blame for the actions of their government (something Austria and Japan never did).
And anything which detracts from their acceptance of the blame is a very difficult subject to approach.

So any attack on Israel, however justified, sits very, very uncomfortable with the German government and laws.

They really don’t feel they are in a position to criticise Israel.

Do they criticise the Palestinians? Nope.
I think that’s probably more important in Germany’s case on this matter.

Your changing the goalposts now you claimed earlier that you had no freedom of thought. You know not everyone thinks out loud, it’s a sign of marbles running free.
you can't even post one serious post, can you, libtard.

all you want to do is argue and throw crap.

Are you autistic?

In Germany, there are right-wing extremists who deny the holocaust.
They start their argument by questioning the numbers.
That’s why it’s illegal in Germany.

Raul Hilberg lived in the US. And conducted research from a whole other perspective.

And as far as I know his works are available in Germany.
No one should be thrown in prison for "talking", especially when it is about something as mundane as holocaust denial and flat earth.

do you want to the flat-earthers to join the holocaust deniers in prison?

what kind of government has such powers? And yet they worry about the right wingers...?

Ho Lee shiite.

@shavixmir - Anyways, how’s the flag burning going in the US?

Ask one of your leftist brethren, flag burning is their specialty

Yah. It seems you don’t comprehend German history.

Who the hell locks kids up for years just for using drugs?

No I just want you fasctards to tell the truth and not pretend that anyone is policing your thoughts. Anything someone says is quite rightly open to judgement, criticism and policing if necessary.
Try to have a grown up conversation without resorting to ad hominem and fantasy victimhood.

Kev, don't accuse me of lying. I may make mistakes but I don't lie.

Now, I posted in here a wiki link showing 17 pages of people imprisoned for holocaust denial - and I *assume* that entails abridging the official statistics, and not total denial.

With that said, RHP is in England and I have no idea if I am breaking laws in England. Nobody has said anything yet.

In the US, I don't have to worry about it.
People can choose to believe me or not if I say Big Foot exists or the earth is flat. So why can't they have that choice about what I say about the holocaust figures? And of course, they can. So I don't sweat it in the US.

But I do worry about my opinion on Shoah being on a server in England. Hope you understand.
