What misinformation is good?
I am asking because most democrats on this forum clearly believe in good misinformation and bad misinformation. Lying to get people vaccinated is clearly condoned by most democrats, but lying to achieve the opposite is condemned. You don't even have to lie about anything though. All you have to do is tell the truth about something democrats do not want to believe and they will want it censored. The lab leak theory is a good example. It was censored from fascistbook until Biden said he thought it was possible. Now they do not censor it anymore.
Fauci lying must be considered good misinformation to most democrats. After all, they still defend him even after they find out he lied about face masks. Personally, I do not think face masks save lives. Most democrats do though. Does that mean by democrat's own logic Fauci is killing people?
These are not white lies that Fauci is telling. This is information that is important to public health. It is literally a matter of life and death. I suppose some people might think lying to get people vaccinated might be an acceptable lie because it saves lives, but how does lying about face masks save lives? Because it scares people into getting the vaccines? Because medical workers lives are more important than everyone else's lives?
Biden said the delta variant is more deadly, but there is no evidence of that. That is misinformation. Is that good misinformation? After all, he is only lying to get more people vaccinated. A cult branch covidian might think that is a good thing because vaccines save lives, at least that is what they think.
What about Fauci lying about herd immunity? That is another lie he admitted to. He admitted he lied about what percentage of people needed to be vaccinated to reach herd immunity. He said he lied because he didn't think people were ready for the truth at that time. Is that good misinformation?
What about republicans? Republicans do get vaccinated. A lot of older people are vaccinated and most older people are republicans. Do they condone misinformation intended to get more people vaccinated? It can't be only democrats. At least some of them must condone misinformation. Are there any polls available to find out?
People who claim they don't like misinformation are spreading misinformation. Is all misinformation bad or only some misinformation?
@metal-brain saidI would argue that your post is filled with misinformation and therefore it is bad. Getting a vaccine is a medical decision and people should get their medical advice from a medical expert (a doctor). You are not a doctor so no one should (or probably will listen to you.

@metal-brain saidNo one has ever claimed any misinformation is "good". That in of itself is misinformation.

After Fauci's initial statement about masks, Fauci has consistently recommended CDC guidelines, unlike conservatives, who are consistently disregarding them.
Fauci said he was concerned about there being enough protective equipment for healthcare workers. Contrast that with Trump who lied because his business took a billion-dollar loss during the pandemic. The difference is that Fauci thought he was doing the right thing; Trump lied for personal gain.
That's the key difference; Fauci quickly changed his recommendation based on facts and data, as more about the pandemic was learned; conservatives did the opposite. As Fauci recommended CDC guidelines, he was attacked by conservatives, and even blocked by Trump from speaking to the public.

Two Republicans senators, Richard Burr and Kelly Loeffler, publicly denied the severity of the pandemic while secretly selling stocks based on non-public information they received about COVID as senators. Even Fox News' Tucker Carlsen, of all people ripped Burr for doing this, because of the public outcry against those Republicans who lied for personal gain.
There's no comparison between Fauci and conservatives. Fauci has consistently recommended CDC guidelines, conservatives, to this day, are still lying and spreading misinformation.
@vivify saidFauci was appointed by the Trump Administration. He has no party association, just establishment.

@eladar saidFauci became director of the NIAID in 1984. He's advised every president since Reagan.
Fauci was appointed by the Trump Administration. He has no party association, just establishment.
President Trump named him to the White House Coronavirus Task Force.
This has been superseded by the White House COVID-19 Response Team under President Biden.
@metal-brain saidYah… Fauci, the CDC, the WHO, the RIVM, the NHS, all medical experts are the people sending misinformation… not the right-wing conspiracy sites you read.

Get a grip on reality, buddy.
You’ve run down a rabbit hole and disappeared from humanity.
@quackquack saidMy post contains no misinformation. Everything I wrote in the OP of this thread is 100% factual. Since you didn't bother to do the research to determine that for yourself you have failed yourself. Everything I wrote is factual and easily verifiable.

Hoe do you know that? Show me the facts and data if you can.
@shavixmir saidStill lying I see.

So Fauci didn't lie about face masks? He admitted he did and it is on video for all to see. Apparently you think your misinformation is good. Here is proof you are wrong.

You need to get a grip on reality. I easily proved you WRONG!
@metal-brain saidYou, sir, are the under the top ten of most bltanat lyers I ever encountered.
My post contains no misinformation.
And this statement alone is philosophically not justifiable. And the emasure you put on other about "lying" should prevent you anayway from such a statement. To be consistent with measures you put foward you would be only able to speak in subjunctive mood.
@ponderable saidNope.

Watch the youtube videos I posted for shav. I already proved you WRONG!
Stop ignoring the proof! YOU ARE THE LIAR!
Do you always pretend the evidence posted is not evidence because you didn't look at it?
@metal-brain saidEverything you post is a regurgitated lie from bad actor state sponsored BS troll sites.

Saying it’s the truth does not make it so.
@metal-brain saidWhich of the theses I had put forward was provevn WRONG?
Nope.

That you use different measures when judging people notz of your opinion and those who are? And you disprove that with a video?
That there is something called "subjunctive mood"?
That you should use that if you want to be consistent?
So you cry out LIAR about nearly anthing some people post. You claim to have proven me wrong, how so?
If you can't do it who is the LIAR?
I would intently ask you to tune down your expression so that you have room for differntiation. You would be so much more believeable and maybe people would even consider your points.
