I nearly puked on my computer screen. The soundtrack was cheeesier than a quatro frommagio pizza.
Arresting hundreds of terror suspects is nothing to be proud of.
This propaganda is very similar to the arab propaganda that the US wants to crackdown on.

glad you liked it, here's the oh-ficial DOD Iraq-reconstruction site:
http://www.defendamerica.mil/iraq/rebuilding.html
but then again it is reporting on a lot of corporations putting Iraq back together again.
Obviously I'm of school of opinion that it wasn't broke 3 years ago and if america hadn't broken it, it would not need fixing right now.
But essentially it is good that Iraq is being put back together again.

Why does it pain you to hear some good news about Iraq? They aren't writing about US soldiers getting killed and that pisses you off? I'm sure in your world there are no Islamic terrorists to arrest. This site was started by Iraqi's trying to dispel the myths that nothing good is happening in Iraq. nay saying assholes like you is what making this war a mess.
We all like progress, we just hate the "act now and ask questions later" attitude, especially when so much is at stake.

Happy Thanksgiving to you too!
I would be very surprised if this site was started by Iraqis. Putting a American troops with guns on the home page - and messages to our boys doesn't sound like Iraqi work to me.
I have no craving to hear US soldiers getting killed in Iraq. Quite the contrary - I would like to hear that US soldiers have decided they shouldn't be in Iraq.
As I eluded to in previous post the other site (defendamerica) was much better at informing of real progress - allbeit with a heavy pro US slant. This information was good to read and not painful at all.
I've always said Nay to this useless war. If that makes me an asshole then that speaks volumes for Americas vision of Freedom of Speech and Democatic process.
Have a nice day

But when you state "useless war" as though it is a fact you make a mistake. The war is not ended yet and historians a generation from now will argue over whether or not it was "useless".

Such views are more favorable to news about more death of soldiers, prisoner
abuse sagas, unfavourable opinion polls, and failure in generally.
Naysayers (always "intelligent" people), while demanding it for themselves,
take freedom for granted. And discount the value of freedom for others; to try
to spread it around is too hard, too costly, and ultimately not our business.
