It's always good to see governments trying to rule over the past as well as the present and future, it just demonstrates what a confident crew they are: I mean, I personally wouldn't presume to know whether or not the American public would have elected George Walker Bush in every single election ever held over the past two and a quarter centuries, but George Walker Bush evidently knows better. Some might call that arrogance, but the people who would say that clearly voted on the losing side in every single one of those elections.

looks like they plan to make it retroactively Legal, and cut off any hopes of investigating any of illegal wiretapping that Bush has been conducting for the last 4 years.
any thoughts?
One phone is always abroad... being called TO or being called FROM.
One end of the conversation is always a SUSPECTED terrorist.
If that's illegal, then lets have a bit more of it.
I say that they have the right -- just as FD Roosevelt did to intercept ALL communications that cross our border. That is the very definition of "international" and the president has full authority to legally do it. As EVERY president in history has done. Bush isn't doing anything new here. If you think so you lack a serious understanding of history.
