You keep overlooking the reason:
"Republican senators, led by Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania, voted Wednesday to delay its passage in order to cut some of the mandatory spending contained in the bill."
Democrats tweaked it with billions of spending that had nothing to do with veterans.

Not playing that game, no matter what I say you'll just claim it's a lie.
Didn't figure you would because,
you, sir, are a fraud.
And, I add, a fraud of the very worst kind.
I suggest that NO VETERAN would ever
brag/seek advice on, ,''packin' my 9's to California.'
Or OPPOSE A BILL THAT WOULD HELP BROTHERS IN ARMS,
lastly, I KNOW, THAT NO MAN and I MEAN NO MAN,
that was there, is a BIGOTED RACIST, as you are of so proud.
You're a phony of the worst kind and should be reviled,
I personally only find you to be a repugnant liar.
.............B-52's me arse....War is hell huh?....How would you know 😠

LOL "packin' my nines" is exactly the kind of flip thing a veteran would say.
And I'm all for bills to help Vets, I'm just not in favor of ones that the Dems have stuffed with billions for their pet projects that have nothing to do with veterans.
Where do you get this bigoted racist stuff from?
We're not even allowed to make such statements here, so how do you know what I think?

@JJ-Adams
Not quite right, I am a vietnam era vet and nothing is covered freely, I pay as much or more than regular medicare. But it is still a huge slap in the face from the Zombies for doing this and ONLY because of the climate bill chugging through right now, just a Zombie response to that. It does show you quite clearly just how much zombies give a rat's ass about their own constituents.

Yearly medical exams, lab work, blood tests, x-rays. vaccinations, emergency room visits are free, as are a lot of other tests and treatments. All prescriptions are a flat rate of 9 dollars each per month. Hospital stays, surgeries do cost something, but it's pennies on the dollar compared to everything else.
There's no monthly fee like medicare, no co-pay, nothing.
If you have the VA and are paying for medicare plan b or whatever you are throwing money away.
I have Medicare Plan A which is free but have no reason to use it.

It was for THE BILL ITSELF,
anyway, a veteran wouldn't let a
bit of deficit spending get in the way
of helping brothers...You extol The VA Hospitals,
are they a money making proposition?
Where did you serve, again?
.......Navigator, me arse 😠

Still jealous of me I see.
You should be. After the Army, going on to become an Air Force officer was...just...AWESOME.

@JJ-Adams
I have the same also, A, but you pay if you go to hospital, 700 bucks to start there if I read it right.
I am in excellent health and am not in need of meds or testing so knock on wood, that will last me till I kick the bucket.

Then how do you figure the VA is more expensive?
All I've paid for is for my meds, 9 bucks a month, medicare A is basically useless.

@JJ-Adams
Actually I haven't felt the need because of good health. What service were you in?

Army and then Air Force.
Did you know the VA also gives out prescription eyeglasses?
I don't know what they cost, but the optometrist visit was free just like a yearly physical, and whatever the glasses cost, it wasn't much.
Like a few bucks, compared to the $175 I paid for the previous pair at Target.

@JJ-Adams
The two visits and the glasses are free.

Hearing test and hearing aids are free also.

Thanks, I thought they were, but my wife has been handling the bills almost forever and I don't pay much attention to them.
