Sorry the video's not available wherever you are. It's an interview between an American commentator / gun enthusiast and a Swiss gun trainer. Switzerland is heavily armed (3d highest rate of gun ownership per 100 residents in the world, behind Yemen and the USA), yet the gun-related violence is incredibly low. Here is a text article summarizing the same basic facts:
https://www.businessinsider.com/switzerland-gun-laws-rates-of-gun-deaths-2018-2?r=US&IR=T
Clearly, the issue is not guns as such, but the attitude of gun owners in general and specifically the threshold for using them in anger.
Interestingly, most of the gun-related deaths in Switzerland are suicides, not murders or connected with armed robberies.

The post that was quoted here has been removed95% White, but also 20% resident aliens. Go figure.
As the article points out, Switzerland ranks consistently high on several parameters: low corruption, trust in local and federal government, and happiness. I'm sure there is a connection with low crime rates. Happy people don't commit armed robberies or feel they need to resort to violence to get what they think they deserve.
America is seething with angry people who feel disempowered and cheated. Trump was their poster boy; not a cause of it of course but clearly played to that crowd.

@moonbus saidBowling for Columbine was filmed in 2000 and 2001. In it Michael Moore makes the same point. He starts by attacking the gun lobby for mass shootings, but then pivots and blames American culture by pointing out that Canadians also love guns and don't kill each other with the same frequency.

I wanted to ask him then whether, then, he's really arguing for stricter gun laws or for cultural changes. Since I couldn't ask him, I'll ask you. Is it the NRA's fault or is it our bad mood?

Y'all refer to firearms, here and there,
long guns are allowed in many countries,
it's the handguns that are restricted
in most places around the world.
@moonbus saidIn most every country, there are ,
... irresponsible people do. Other countries with high rates of gun ownership don't have gun crime rates, especially mass shootings, anywhere near as high as in America. Clearly, guns aren't the problem; it's Americans who are the problem.
