Has a US presidential pardon EVER been morally justified at least once? If so, which pardon and why was it morally justified?
Or have all presidential pardons ALL been morally bad and corrupt without exception?
And, even if there has been at least one morally justified presidential pardon, should the US law still be change to disallow presidential pardons because presidential pardons carry with them just too much potential for abuse and corruption?

A president pardoning someone who has become a high profile case in a particular voter profile could be seen as politically motivated but it would be a much less cut n dried example of misuse compared to the above examples.
