How is this politicizing the problem? Simple, it is the same way they politicized Clintons donw fall. You can't convince me that they seriously thought they were going to impeach him, rather, they were just trying to humiliate a popular democrat in the White House. In short, they were ragging on the democrat party to help them in the Republican party for ...[text shortened]... tioning. Once Cheney and compnay achieved a certain level of power they became untouchable.
It isn't politics to investigate crimes and that's all they should be doing.
When people are suggesting we should not investigate at all and just "look forward" as Obama suggested then they are suggesting giving Cheney and company that untouchable status and that's not something I want to give to them, Obama or any administration.

Seems Victims of IRA terrorist attacks are calling for Lybia to compensate them for the attrocities, due to the fact that Lybia funded the IRA, and provided the explosives.

I was talking about al-qaida terrorists, not the IRA or anyone else.

Why not insist that they happen and then insist that they really do investigate?
Originally posted by PsychoPawnWhen did I say I did not prefer them to investigate? I am just saying that I don't buy into the fact that they are seeking any justice if, in fact, wrong doing has occured. It is all merely for show whether it be for political positioning or PR.

Originally posted by whodeyOK... so we actually agree that they should investigate.

I also hope that there's more than just political posturing - there always will be some of that, but the Justice department is supposed to be independent and frankly, Obama didn't want any investigation so Holder looks to be going against those wishes.
