@AverageJoe1
Well, YOU said it, you could care less TS and above docs were stolen by an XPOTUS, Trump. So now the entire idea of there being actual enemies of the US means nothing to you and any secret doc getting out like the one Trump BRAGGED about, how close can a US sub get to a Russian sub undetected, who gives a crap about that? Big frigging deal.
You are so cavalier. If it had been say Obama with hundreds of TS docs in HIS basement you would be screaming HANG THE SOB, our national security is OBVIOUSLY at risk by this traitorous behavior.
And you know that full well so we know exactly why you downgrade the importance of national security because your cult leader declassified them by telepathy, just by thinking about it they are now declassified, that is what he said. Prove me wrong.

An interesting discussion, given that Mike Lee has presented a bill to impeach him, we can get ahead of what the news will be! I think there are a few, but invite any thoughts from the contingency?
Nope. Biden has not.

Next topic.

@AverageJoe1
When Trump represents the most dire threat to the idea of democracy here in the US since the civil war you DAMN right I get upset and will continue so till Trump has gone back into the woodwork where he came from.
You are deliberately blind to the dark side of Trump.

You keep projecting the coup attempt on Jan 6 as old news but for Donald it is not even BEGUN to be over. It is NOT old news it is buried in the heart of America even if you don't feel it. He almost succeeded and it was only Pence who kept it from being a full blown constitutional crisis when he rejected the fake electors.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET and so will 90% ...[text shortened]... o we fall asleep and Jan 6 was just a rehearsal for the next more powerful thrust against democracy.
Assuming Trump becomes Pres, tell us all that as a citizen that you want cases such as Jan 6 and Georgia to proceed and bring him down!!!!....While he is President!!!!!
C'mon, Sonhouse,,,,,an adult response here please. Let us see how far the hate goes.

A 2-tiered system is destroying it. (You know about that but i do not bother writing about that subject, considering the audience here. A bit complicated.) So is wide open borders. Deluding and skewing votes of citizens. So many things to shore up your point that the dems can indeed bring down our democracy. The repubs are not doing those things. So I will give you a thumb up, that in your mind we are in danger of losing our democracy.
But before you go and put a star on your AvJoe report card, check this out.

@AverageJoe1
I see this:

"The latest NBC News survey illustrates this point. On the question of what is "the most important issue facing the country,” inflation and immigration rank ahead of threats to democracy.

But when it's framed as an issue so important that you'd vote for or against a candidate solely on that basis, protecting democracy ranks first, followed by immigration and abortion."

Biden is not the one fomenting a coup and attempting to stop the peaceful transfer of power. If you don't think he tried that we have nothing to talk about.
Biden WILL give up his post if Trump wins fair and square but Trump has already said he would not recognize the win if Biden wins again, JUST LIKE HE ALREADY DID in 2020.
And you think BIDEN is the threat? Did you even bother to look at what was written in that Times mag article about Trump, HIS OWN WORDS as to what he will do if reelected? If you want truth, read that article, it is Trumps own words not some comments by someone else.

While still president? He is not now and it is NOT in his presidential duties to be pressuring people to find more votes for him so he can win an already lost election.

What planet do you come from where that would be legal? It is pressuring people to come up with fake votes for the direct political benefit of one person, Trump.

This is TOTAL abuse of presidential power and would be pursued by whatever AG would handle such cases, state or fed no matter if it was Clinton, Obama, Nixon, Reagan or Trump.

You want to cast this as Biden weaponizing DOJ against Trump but Biden has ZERO to do with ANY of that, for instance there is no Biden POTUS pressure on the AG to go easy on his own son and Garland sent a letter to Biden saying if he is going to be AG he is going to be totally independent and Biden agreed with that.

All you have to do is look at what happened with William Barr, quite the opposite, Barr was Trumps PET AG who did his bidding. That is ALSO abuse of POUTUS power.

Seeriously, please, tell us how he 'almost succeeded'.
Are you there, SHouse? Can you tell us how he almost succeeded? Why, he was not even wearing a flak jacket.
Tell us, so we can watch for signs when he becomes president

@AverageJoe1
If Trump miraculously died Jan 6 would still not be over because of the acolytes he taught well to keep up the 'good' work and maybe the NEXT coup will be the one that works. Like MJG said, If I had done the Jan 6 thing, I would have won.
You all just want us to fall over, play dead, go to sleep and forget all about the coup attempt, the practice run for the real thing coming next time. So HELL NO we won't forget. EVER. Not till the entire batch of traitors are dead or in jail, like MTG, Jim Jordan, Matt Goetz, and the orange farting sleepy would be dictator, Trump himself.

Have you told us how he 'almost succeeded"? Suzianne wrote me a PM and asked me to spur you on, we need to know this.

Note that all of you are blind to any scintilla of imperfection of the hapless Biden. Not one thing about him bothers you. Not one thing about him bothers you. So, since you never highlight one thing, you are all disingenuous.

Two things: Cite us where Trump said he will not recognize a Biden win. I'll give you one of those kindergarten thumbups.

Secondly, immigration affects EVERY American citizen every one.

However, abortion is a personal matter and only affects the abortee....and the baby of course. But you already know that it has a big affect on the baby.

Sonhouse says that Biden has zero to do with the persecution of Trump. Zero.
Everyone take that for what it is worth. And, ask him what the Georgia prosecutors were doing at the White House on their numerous visits prior to filing the inquisition.
No, I will ask him. Sonhouse, did any lawyers from Atlanta meet with anyone in the White House?

Trump doesn't recognize the present Biden win, so why would he recognize a future win?

You understand nothing about Trump. He's like a mafia boss. The boss doesn't say, "Go kill so-and-so." He says, "Somebody should do something about so-and-so."

Remember in the documents case, the hand motions, plucking at the air? Signals. You know what the boss wants - he isn't going to say it because that would be illegal and could be used against him.

But if you don't get the drift, you get fired.
