The Glasgow Socialist Workers' chaps are an amusing bunch. I once indulged their invitation to talk politics with them in a grotty little pub. They don't really have any grand plans, but they are organised and determined. There's nothing quite like plotting revolution over half a pint of Speckled Hen.

For 10+ years my wife and I spent many interesting Saturday evenings with the Toledo chapter during the late 70s and through the 80s, until they closed their bookstore and lecture room in Toledo, Ohio. We made many friends there and thanks to them heard many interesting speakers, engaged in interesting discussions and bought many books not available elsewhere.

He hasn't been seen on this forum for 5 days, so perhaps he has found paid employment at last. If so we wish him well.
That would be a sweet job.
