The Glasgow Socialist Workers' chaps are an amusing bunch. I once indulged their invitation to talk politics with them in a grotty little pub. They don't really have any grand plans, but they are organised and determined. There's nothing quite like plotting revolution over half a pint of Speckled Hen.

We made many friends there and thanks to them heard many interesting speakers, engaged in interesting discussions and bought many books not available elsewhere.
