@Cliff-Mashburn saidThanks Joe Biden!!! 😆
Where?
I just bought 60 for 19 bucks, $3.80 per dozen.
That's up a bit, but nothing like the claims of them being over twice that.
@Cliff-Mashburn saidDont know what Americans complaining about. Down here we pay $4 US / doz., and there is a lot of foodstuff that we have to import and is cost 3 times the US price. Local fish and meat is cheap though ... like organic beef and pork, and fresh fish is all in the $3 - 4 US/ lb area.

@Cliff-Mashburn saidThe only reason people are blaming Trump for egg prices is because Trump constantly hammered home the high cost of groceries while on the campaign, promised over and over again that only he could bring down costs, claimed he could do it immediately on day 1, and then as soon as he won the election he was finally asked by a reporter to explain exactly how, and he said "well, actually it's very hard to bring these things down".

Unrealistic campaign promises, meet unrealistic expectations.
@wildgrass saidSo true, and his tariffs are going to hurt is own People as well as others around the world especially Mexico and Canada. I believe both countries are looking at other countries they can do trade with. We in Canada made a mistake by putting our eggs all in one basket, with the states who use to be a friendly country to us. Now putting tariffs on their Allies is not a great idea. I think King Trump has a habit of talking before putting his brain is in gear. 🙂 I don't know if things will ever get back to the way they once were, and might be just as well!!!

@Very-Rusty
Canada is weak and pathetic.
They do nothing but trash talk the USA and then complain when the USA decides to not take care of them anymore.
They are also a bunch of liberal pansies voting liberal and giving away the country to immigrants.
Where is your liberal leadership now? Oh ya! He quit because he was a failure.
@Cliff-Mashburn
Prices were very high in some regions.
They tried to call it a shortage because of covid not allowing enough workers.
That quickly ended so companies kept using that excuse to raise prices. Even though deliveries were regular, they kept claiming shortages.
After that, the grocery companies pushed prices to see what people would actually pay. When they went too high they came down a bit.
Corporate Greed is the main problem.
Now, oil needs to be drilled for and get a surplus of that so transportation prices come down and companies will lower prices to bring in customers from other stores.
Once that happens, prices will come down.
It takes time.
The process started on day one of trump in office but since he has been kicking azz lately, the liberals are nitpicking every word again because they don't have anything other than that.

Hard to tell by your name if you are a man or a women doesn't really matter, you sound like a PATHETIC TRUMP WORSHIPPER to me, and listen to all his B.S. like it is the Gospel Truth. Our Prime Minister has put in 2 terms and no one seems to get beyond that, a lot of laws are passed people don't like and the Prime Minister loses favor with the people. Many Americans Already have lost faith in King Trump and have said publicly they wish they could take back their Vote. So, wake up and know what is actually going on in the world before putting your fingers in Gear!!!

@ManDelaMaza saidSo private oil companies are going to invest billions of dollars to drill for more oil just so they can reduce prices?

Did you ever take ECO 101?
@ManDelaMaza saidForget about eggs, they will all be eating huge amounts of crow during the next four years.
⬆️ voted liberal ⬆️
@ManDelaMaza saidGas prices are basically the same now as they were in 2011-2014, but egg prices have doubled since then.

Currently there appears to be weak global demand for oil combined with historic record high output from the US. Prices per barrel are low, gas prices are low, and oil companies do not appear eager to invest in new infrastructure right now.
The reason for egg price spikes has nothing to do with oil. Millions of chickens were culled due to bird flu. Seems like a good time to involve the CDC and WHO but wait, those organizations have been either dismantled or excommunicated.
@ManDelaMaza saidLet me guess. You are not a democrat.

@wildgrass saidYEAH? well it was BIDEN who secretly engineered that bird flu so it could infect dogs, he KNEW that would happen and his sinister plan was to infect dogs first THEN humans but he engineered it to ONLY attack RED states.
