I already know what the answer would be, but how about you, Google what the USA is known for, and then google what Canada is known for. I know, maple syrup will lead your top of the list, something to be proud of.
Ask an American, especially from Vermont, and they'll say Vermont. Canada makes 85% of all the maple syrup in the world. Vermont can't compete with this. When in Japan and we'd buy some maple syrup it was always 100% Canadian. It was either this one we got from the local Donki: Or a 1L bottle from the local Costco.
