I have no idea, look at that face .. probably plenty, but i'd be the wrong person to define what Christianity stands for.
I'll leave that part to one of you "science in God" types to define .. your specialty

I am good at recognizing a phony when I see one though .. and she's one of 'em.

Of course every swinging dick (hers too) within politics is a phony, so that just qualifies her to run IMO.

So. You call someone unChristian without basis. Isn't that slander? Or libel? What do you call it when you lie about someone just to make them look bad?

Is your "gut instinct" better than Bush's? We've already seen how effective the "gut instinct" of far righters is...

What she has done or not done matters little in comparison to the perception of her from the religious right that she is anything but Chrisitian. It is so bad that she has hired religious consultants to reach out to the religious right. I believe I started another thread on this topic a while back. Anyhew, Bush not only reached out to the religious right, the man lived the life by attending fundamentalist churchs and the like. He understands how they think and what is important to them. Now whether or not he is a true convert is another story altogether. He was quoted as saying that he would ride the vote of the religious right all the way into the White House. At the time he was laughed at but today I don't see to many people laughing.

That might have to do with the fact that she hasn't been a politician for long and she doesn't have a lot of political accomplishments to point to.
Why should that stop her?😉

I am not commenting on whether she's Christian or not from the political perspective. I am criticizing jammer's direct claim that she is unChristian.

I think you're right. She seemed real thrilled with the whole escapade at the time.😉

I would vote for the Hillary/Clinton duo. . . If I had a vote.

Did congress ever raise the bill that would allow a non American native to become president. . . I know the Republican's have had it on a back burner for a while. It is their only way of being able to put forward the Schwarzenegger as a presidential candidate. . .He would win!

President Schwarzenegger would "STICK AROUND" for two terms no doubt.

The most shocking thing is "Schwarzenegger" is in in microsoft word spell check by default, that is how far he has managed to worm himself into the fabric of the US and A.

What a surprise .. misunderstood/misrepresented again.

Here's what i actually said ...not to be confused with what ATYs comprehension of what he thought I said
......................

"Yeah .. 'cause everyone knows what a fine Christian couple they are .. we'd be shattered to find out it wasn't true.

Hold that thought .. don't look behind the curtain whatever you do.

..................

I'm not an expert spokesperson for what is/isn't Christian/unChristian .. I claim she's a hypocrite, plain and simple.

Hill (and Billy) both represent themselves as Christian. Just based on the (little) knowledge I have of Christs teachings I judge them both as phony hypocrites and a disgrace to anything Christ taught.

They aren't "un"Christian .. they aren't Christian at all .. that's the point.
Get it now? If not, go ahead and look behind the curtain.

It's obvious they are not Christian. . . .They are well educated knowledgeable intelligent individuals, who are wise enough to know that if you do not portray yourself as Christian there is no hope in hell of ever becoming president in the US and A.

Mr Bush is most definitely a Christian. . ."You need something to believe in to get you through alcoholism". . .The Bush's own words. . . .

I would rather someone be a Christian than an alcoholic.

His statement is not untrue. I have known many people with addiction problems and it seems to help if one loves something more than they love themselves. Be it family, God or country.

Right .. as Monte Clark said ...

"The key to this whole business is sincerity. Once you can fake that you've got it made."

That was my point .. Hill/Billy are phonies.
Hypocrites.
They're politicians plain and simple .. and therein lies Bush's flaw .. he really IS a Christian.

Nothing more pious than a reformed drunk
