I would rather someone be a Christian than an alcoholic.

His statement is not untrue. I have known many people with addiction problems and it seems to help if one loves something more than they love themselves. Be it family, God or country.
A desperate necessity to love anything I think. . .As alcoholics do not love themselves. I drank myself to death at the age of 33. A staunch Atheist through the entirety of my debauched, privileged life. . . . Yet on my death bed fear drove me to find God.

Right .. as Monte Clark said ...

That was my point .. Hill/Billy are phonies.
Hypocrites.
They're politicians plain and simple .. and therein lies Bush's flaw .. he really IS a Christian.

Nothing more pious than a reformed drunk
Nice to see there are some well reasoned democrats over the ocean. . .

I'm not an expert spokesperson for what is/isn't Christian/unChristian ... they aren't Christian at all

Come on now, be fair. Let's not pretend the Methodist religion isn't one of the Christian religions.

Hillary CLAIMS to be a Christian .. she's not.

Calling herself a Methodist proves the point.

You also said "but i'd be the wrong person to define what Christianity stands for", so how did you determine she isn't Christian? Your only argument so far has been that her face doesn't look like she's Christian, which isn't a very good argument.

Hypocrite.
It's called opinion, child.

The part you quote is a disclaimer.
Not being an expert doesn't preclude one from having an opinion .. if it did you wouldn't be allowed to post at all.

You, like many, are hung up on Critical Theory .. must be a student in our fine education system here in CA

Belief in this, belief in that come on now people. . . A strong belief hardens you mind to the opposing opinion and casually leads you to seek a reinforcing view of your own opinion. . . .

see above

I don't define what a Christian is, not qualified .. I give my opinion that she's a phony .. and she is.

I have studied Christs teachings enough to know a phony when I see one though (BTW, most who claim to be, are phony)

I don't claim to be a Christian either, just a student of His teachings

You keep contradicting yourself. "I give my opinion that she's a phony .." - okay, fine, that's your opinion. "and she is" - this goes beyond giving your opinion, you state that your opinion is also a fact, despite saying before that it's only your opinion.

Also, you still haven't given any arguments for your opinion, other than that you don't like her face.
