I thought Obamacare was the answer. I recall spending thread after thread explaining that Obamacare was a bad policy and was only meant to fail to lead to government run health care, to which I received a myriad of retorts that I was off my rocker, including yourself.
Well, looks like I was right. Thanks for that.
As for government run health care, we have it with the VA. Luckily, however, veterans are free to use it or use private care which many opt to do for their own benefit. People like yourself don't want to see them have that choice. And of course, those that get mistreated, like the Veterans left to die who were put on secret do not treat lists, are merely swept under the rug of government scandal.
And that is the rub. Sure, the government may be able to do some things better, but at the end of the day, they have as much accountability to the citizens as Trump has to you regarding his endless scandals, or Obama, or "W", or Bill Clinton, etc.
Instead, the role of government should be referee, instead of being referee while trying to score touchdowns no one has the power to refute or correct.
And yes, I know this will be a shocker, there is corruption in government that will go unchecked if the government takes it over. Hell, there is already corruption gone unchecked in health care with the VA system and next to nothing has been done about it.
