Back to the original discussion: I don't believe Hitler was anyone's stooge. He hated Jews, Jews created Bolshevism, both had to be destroyed. Plus, there was all of that living space out there in the Russian hinterland, not to mention all of that farmland in the Ukraine. Just think of the millions of people that would have died in addition to all the millions of people that did die during the war if they had won.
For instance, did you know that Hitler planned to wipe out two thirds of the Slavick peoples and then keep the rest as slaves? The man was not sane at all.
There are some nice sayings in Afrikaans that I think sum Hitler up rather nicely, it goes "hy het nie al sy varkies op hok gehaad nie" and "hy het iewers 'n groot skroef los gehaad". These sayings basicaly mean the same thing, and that is THE MAN WAS INSANE!
