This is all at the cost of not caring what the Majority of people feel and believe and know to be true as trans makes up .05 percent of the world population. What would it look like if we could poll the audience/world as a lifeline on a game show
to get the correct answer? Without forced acceptance you have nothing.
That a majority think a minority, no matter how small, should be oppressed and discriminated against is irrelevant in our system which is based on individual rights.

What rights do I have that trans or gay people don’t, that signals they are oppressed? I’m speaking of a small group being held up over the majority for political reasons and control at the expense of these people you think your supporting. The libs will throw them under the bus when the time suits them and their agendas. Will you cry out then?

This is just typical right wing ranting and raving.

The thread's OP is about a blatantly discriminatory law passed by the House of Representatives to ban trans girls and women from athletic competitions. Does the majority have to worry about such measures?

One poster here thinks we should eliminate transgender persons entirely by making it a crime for doctors to perform certain surgical procedures on them. Are the majority worried about that?

So your post is BS.

If the law keeps out men from womens sports then that is a good thing. Calling it discriminatory is just a useless buzzword [used by insane people like you], that attempts to make people think something is wrong. Its a good thing. Men have no right in womens sports, even if they cut out their dick.

As much as you idiots keep trying to erase the reality of transgender persons, your holding your breath until you turn blue strategy fails in the face of legal recognition of their existence and individual rights.

Please elucidate me (and others)

What rights do transgender people have/deserve that "just people" don't?

GFY. This thread shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that right wingers just want to punish and oppress trans gender persons; everything else is a transparent facade. Any concerns about safety should be addressed by the athletic organizations involved taking into account relevant scientific findings; not by politicians pandering to the intolerance of ignorant bigots like yourself.

None.

So why was the House of Representatives trying to take away their individual right to equal protection under the law?

What "special rights"?

Girls A and B both want to be on the high school volleyball team.

Girl A is transgender; Girl B isn't.

What "special right" is Girl A asking for?

The law is changing, clearly, so its you that is going to turn blue. People can change their gender and appear to be whatever they like, man, woman, dog, cat.... nobody cares, and nobody is erasing that reality. The issue is participating in sports, or using certain womans facilities etc. The law is going to stop it... and its about time this madness stops.

The Man A wants to participate in womans sports. The law is getting smart and it is one of the reasons people voted Trump who will more than llikely stop the foolishness.

S/he is demanding to be treated like a girl to give him special advantage, for one.

The law died in the US Senate, so nothing changed.

Similar laws passed in a few States are being challenged in court and should be struck down for the same reasons employment discrimination against transgender persons was found to be illegal sex discrimination by the SCOTUS in Bostick.
