Yeah... if that makes you feel better, or more secure, or something... do it.

Replace "admit" with "say" or "imagine", and you can go ahead.

Based on what America, etc have been up to and the suffering that's resulted, I'm starting to believe that there is no god.

If there were miracles before, why can't there be profound miracles now ... without the doomsday threat ?!?!?!?

Surely this would go a long way towards changing how humans choose to treat each other in a world that's got limited resources and its priorities wrong.

that's the trouble - limited resources, why should the developing world let the further advanced countries drain their natural resources.

and if not drain them then prevent them developing them for themselves. I always thought it hypocritical, though envirnmentally correct, for us to stop the south american countries develop the rainforest having already done it to our own countries.

let there be a god he can and should be used for good. if you want to believe or not it is up to yourself. argue about it as well if you want but just realise that everyone is entitled to think what they want.

I have jsut returned from Macedonia and it is there perception that all Americans are Chiristians. Their favorite programs on TV about the American way of life are The Sopranos and Sex in the City. Something of irony in that.

Are you refering to the profound miracles as written in scripture?

I don't view any doomsday threat coming, simply a revealing of
what is real, true, pure, and righteous. Beyond that the judgement
to come will be complete, and all the things that cause pain, suffering,
greed, lies and so on will be removed from the Kingdom forever.

This is an interesting position you take. You are not a pre-, mid- or post-trib believer? What is your view on the stereotypical interpretations of the Book of Revelations?

I'm of the opinion it does not matter if it is pre-,mid-, or post-trib,
because if you are not ready when you die the timing of the trib will
not matter. My view about the trib is in Revelations only points to
one thing, that there is going to an end of evil within the Kingdom
of God. Evil is simply a small bump on the road of God's eternal plan
for His creation.
