And what do the words "Red" or "Blue" invoke in them?

I think it's an interesting question. Dreams are your subconscious sorting through your thoughts and experiences. I find dreams to be very graphic, but if I had never seen anything, how would my dreams be formed?

If I have never seen the colour red, how could you describe it to me if I have only seen black from birth?

Anybody ever ask a blind person this?

Red = stick your finger in a candle flame.
Blue = stick your finger in cold water.
Yellow = smell a flower
etc.

There are many ways to visualise that which you can't see.

Imagine complete blackness. Nothingness.
And then imagine the feeling of cold custard trickling through your fingers.
I presume that's what a blind person's dream is like.

I would presume you'd taste ginger.

Google something like "blind dream", there's some interesting stuff out there. For example:

While I "see" in my dreams, that's only one aspect of them, so I don't find it that hard to imagine non-visual dreams. But if you are a mainly visual thinker, it's probably more difficult to imagine. My thoughts mostly come in a non-visual format.
