Hopefully a blind person will see this post and be able to tell you -.-
If I have never seen the colour red, how could you describe it to me if I have only seen black from birth?
Anybody ever ask a blind person this?

Blue = stick your finger in cold water.
Yellow = smell a flower
etc.
There are many ways to visualise that which you can't see.
Imagine complete blackness. Nothingness.
And then imagine the feeling of cold custard trickling through your fingers.
I presume that's what a blind person's dream is like.

While I "see" in my dreams, that's only one aspect of them, so I don't find it that hard to imagine non-visual dreams. But if you are a mainly visual thinker, it's probably more difficult to imagine. My thoughts mostly come in a non-visual format.
