It should be easy for liberals to win the next few elections: 😆
"Day One, an EO will establish Medicare For All. We will not let the courts block us. We will not wait for Congress. The new administration will BEHAVE in accordance with the EO while the chattering classes in Congress strive to catch up."
"Medicare will immediately begin issuing (not negotiating!) lower prices for drugs and services and healthcare ACROSS THE BOARD!"
"Not a single person in the United States will ever go without medical care ever again."
There. I won. 😆
@spruce112358
The Dems have been incredibly weak since Biden lost his cognitive functions.
"All" they need to do is not lead with divisive people and subjects, and go to the center. The far left also need to shut up when we get closer to the next election, which, unfortunately, includes Hollywood.
Of course, that is if we'll see another proper US election and not a "joke" like the Russian ones.
The post that was quoted here has been removed'Medicare for All' will immediately lower prices by 66% down to the level paid by Europeans. Office visits, hospital stays, drugs - everything. Last I checked, pharmaceuticals were still sold in Europe and hospitals are still open. 😆
So how about YOU shut up? 😆
@Lundos saidGerrymandering needs to be outlawed at the Constitutional level. 😆

IF there is gerrymandering (i.e. control of districting by parties), then elections are not free and fair. That can be proven mathematically, without reference to any party.
It should NEVER have been tolerated in the history of the United States. Probably one of our biggest failures. 😆
@spruce112358 saidKind of a no-brainer, except for health insurance CEOs.
Which should Americans vote for?
A) Nazis rounding up and expelling brown people who do 98% of the roofing and landscaping in the country.
B) A 66% cut in medical costs, guaranteed health insurance for everyone in America, and no more medical bankruptcy.
Is that actually a tough choice? 😆
@spruce112358 saidThe "immediately" part of your statement is suspect.

It should be easy for liberals to win the next few elections: 😆
"Day One, the US government (with numerous historical precedents) will seize SpaceX. SpaceX assets will be used to protect and enrich the future of the American people, instead of being used for election interference and promoting pro-Russian propaganda."
This is going to be so easy. I win again. This is going to be a great platform! 😆
@wildgrass saidYou'd be surprised how fast good things happen when you ignore Congress and the courts! 😆
The "immediately" part of your statement is suspect.
@spruce112358 saidIt's not a hard choice for rational folk, no.

This is going to be a cakewalk... 😆
"Day One, the Fairness Doctrine, repealed by Ronald Reagan, will be reinstated. Any media platform presenting important news, editorial or political commentary broadcast to the public or over public space will have:
A Duty to Provide Time: Broadcasters will be required to allot a reasonable amount of time to the treatment of controversial issues of public importance.
A Duty to Present All Sides: Will have a duty to present a representative expression of all responsible shades of opinion on these issues.
Will Abide by The Personal Attack Rule and Political Editorial Rule: The personal attack rule will require stations to notify and give a right to respond to individuals or groups attacked on air, and the political editorial rule will require stations to notify and give a right to respond to unendorsed candidates. 'Personal Attack' will be defined as 'you mention your opponent.'
Failure to adhere to these standards will result in loss of broadcast license.
