@sonhouse saidPeople should wear masks in confined spaces where the other person is not there by choice and the other person requests it.
@sh76
My wife just broke two bones in her legs and now tested positive for Covid after an ambulance ride with a dude refusing to wear a mask, this ER guy goes 'no government is going to tell ME to wear a mask' Thanks a lot assshole.
Not because the government says so, but because it's common decency.
I hope your wife feels better and recovers quickly.
FWIW, I'm wearing a N95 indoors with other people for the rest of the week even though I feel like I'm completely recovered.
@sh76
They stuck my wife in an isolation room with three windows letting in max sunlight and she can't take bright lights and the room doesn't even have a nurse call bell.
And I can't visit her.
She can't walk and can only go on bedpan or portapotty thing.
@sonhouse saidI'm sorry. That's rough.

The policy of putting patients in complete isolation just because they're C+ (especially in 2022) is one of the worst and most malicious excesses of C19 policy.
There's zero excuse not to let you visit, especially if you're both in good masks.
@sh76 saidIt is omicron that was oversold as something to fear. Not all variants are that weak. Covid put my brother in the hospital because he was diabetic. Then they pushed the gene vaccine on him (that he didn't need) and it slowly killed him and he died over 1 year later.
I walked well over 10 miles today (and played some basketball with my son and nephews just for giggles), 2 days after testing + for Omicold. Weakest-as$ “flu” I’ve ever had.
I don’t give a damn if this is arrogant, but I’ve been screamed at to be scared of this for 2.5 years. I’m not only spiking the ball on covid, I’m doing the Ickey Shuffle (Google it).
Someone notify me when it’s time for my 21.7% chance of long covid. I’ll be sure to be duly frightened.
Covid doesn't kill people over 1 year after they get out of the hospital, but a covid cultist will insist my brother died from covid. My brother told everyone it was the vaccine that was killing him, but some people didn't want to believe it.
The gene vaccines weaken the immune system. The vaccine makers knew it and pushed them on us anyway. They even pushed them on people like my brother who already had covid, but was still weak. They pushed something that they knew would weaken the immune system onto someone with an already weak immune system.
They killed people, including my brother. All to sell gene vaccines.
My brother was an auto mechanic who founded and owned an automotive repair business for years. He served in the Army and was given full military honors at his funeral. He was a hard working man.
@Metal-Brain
Again, we are sorry for your loss and I am crossing fingers my wife doesn't get seriously ill from it. I have had all 4 shots and I can say with certainty I never had a bad reaction from any of the 4 covid shots and my wife is diabetic also and so far no symptoms so if it was the vaccine killed your brother, he is one in a million.
This is a report from the CDC:
"What are the risks of the vaccine?
There is a remote chance that the vaccine could cause a severe allergic reaction. A severe allergic reaction would usually occur within a few minutes to 1 hour after getting a dose of the vaccine. For this reason, your vaccination provider may ask you to stay at the place where you received your vaccine for monitoring after vaccination. Signs of a severe allergic reaction can include:
Difficulty breathing
Swelling of your face and throat
A fast heartbeat
A bad rash all over your body
Dizziness and weakness
Myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle) and pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart) have occurred in some people who have received the vaccine, more commonly in males under 40 years of age than among females and older males. In most of these people, symptoms began within a few days following receipt of the second dose of vaccine. The chance of having this occur is very low. You should seek medical attention right away if you have any of the following symptoms after receiving the vaccine:
Chest pain
Shortness of breath
Feelings of having a fast-beating, fluttering, or pounding heart
Side effects that have been reported with the vaccine include:
severe allergic reactions
non-severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching, hives, or swelling of the face
myocarditis (inflammation of the heart muscle)
pericarditis (inflammation of the lining outside the heart)
injection site pain
tiredness
headache
muscle pain
chills
joint pain
fever
injection site swelling
injection site redness
nausea
feeling unwell
swollen lymph nodes (lymphadenopathy)
decreased appetite
diarrhea
vomiting
arm pain
fainting in association with injection of the vaccine
These may not be all the possible side effects of the vaccine. Serious and unexpected side effects may occur. The possible side effects of the vaccine are still being studied in clinical trials."
We are all sorry for your loss but ALL vaccines and anti-bacterial's can have bad side effects in some people not just Covid.
@sonhouse saidYou have some proof doghouse? How do you know the guy had covid, if he doesn't have covid the pointless mask is pointless right. So before going batchit with the accusations you need to get some proof.
@sh76

If you don't have proof a retraction is in order.
This is a good example of how far gone you are. You think people are giving seizure syrup experimental guinea pigs (I acknowledge your wife may not be a literal pig) covid, just because they don't wear a mask EVEN WHEN THEY DON'T HAVE IT THEMSELVES
How do I know he didn't have covid?
The same way you dreamt that he did.
@sonhouse saidNot sure I understand. If she caught it from the unmasked guy in the ambulance, how would you have caught it from her at home before the ride?
@sh76
Yeah, like she would give me covid, like we sleep in separate towns....I probably already have it and don't know it yet. I got the fourth shot but she did not, but has the first three so I just hope it won't be severe.
@vistesd2 saidI actually do know several people who were hospitalized with covid (none that died, thankfully).
@sh76
Apparently, you don't know anyone who died of Covid. I do. Or anyone who was hospitalized on respirators. I do. Your snarky crassness now is duly noted.
But all of them were the original or Delta. I don't know a single person who was hospitalized with Omicron.
I'm not sure it's fair to even call Omicron by the same name as the Wuhan original and Delta. The viruses may be structurally similar, but they're so different in risk and outcomes that lumping them together seems contrived.
The Spanish flu and the Swine flu were both "flu" but if one followed the other, it would be misleading to call them the same pandemic.
@sh76 saidThe “Spanish” flu was exacerbated by trench warfare
