Indeed, so you admit your blanket statement was wrong.

Yes.
However, conceivably I can see a point where I would be totally sick of life, maybe because the universe is stagnant, uninteresting and after an enormously long period of time I had done everything, I wouldn't have to continue to live if I wanted, and I would end it.
You wouldn't need to kill yourself, eventually you'd be unlucky and be hit by a meteorite or fall into a black hole when the odds catch up with you. Even if you did avoid a violent death the two possibilities for the future are heat death or big crunch, both of which would nullify your technological solution to prolonging your life.

😀 if it makes feel better, then yes i was wrong. i should have said that in most cases it is cowardice. there are exceptions we cannot be obtuse.

Clinton. God, I admire that man. He's my idol. 😀
he was one of the worst things to ever happen...
sex scandals are ok, but to up and lie to an entire country about something so trivial?
how can we trust a man who feels the need to lie over THAT?
he was also a pansy with his non-existent middle east dealings...
he also let gays serve in the military, something I DIRECTLY oppose

What is the best way to avoid dying?
Genetic manipulation, robot bodies, time travel, some form of all three?

Personally I figure that technology will improve enough in my lifetime that I will be able to download my consciousness into a replacement robot body: say within 50 years.
And to avoid the problems the universe dying, i.e. heat death/big crunch ...[text shortened]... suitable.

But how would you you avoid death itself? Given the oppurtunity would you even try?
Become a vampire.

sticking 5000 men on a ship together is bad enough...
but to stick a gay guy on there with them???
same goes for the other branches...
gays just don't belong in the service

You must have strange idea of what gay men are like, like they can't resist temptation or something.

Won't help - since the universe is not filled with an infinite number of copies of you we can conclude that neither you nor anyone else has done it, and the infinite extra mass would mess up the universe as well. If you can get into a different universe then you don't have that problem - but you'll still die by accident since the chances of something that has some non-zero probability of happening in a finite amount of time has a probabilty of 1 of happening eventually as long as time doesn't end.
