If Dolly Parton weren't in such a loving relationship and needed some love I'd be all over that octogenarian.

The first girl, you’re almost or are 50 by your words, are you getting younger or changing jobs or something? I’m sure you’ve heard that if you wait until you can afford them you will never have any.
The first girl was 30 years ago. I didn't get her pregnant on purpose.

We never rented, our first house believe it or not was 10,500 and I remodeled it as we went. We lived there a few years sold it and bought a little nicer one that needed work and did the same thing again. We did that like five or six times until we got to where we wanted to be in our mid 30s. You should be able to go to your courthouse and see a list of foreclosed houses to be auctioned off on the courthouse steps. You have to pay then but if you can’t get a bank loan there are investors that will loan also if you look and are stable.

Impressive. You're roughly my age I think and I know it was not trivial to accomplish that.

Fewer and fewer people are able to pull it off as the year go by and the Boomers keep accumulating property.

Also I have a childless relative who wants to pass her house on to my kids - not to me, because she lives there and likes having a house.

I'll try to sell my chosen lady on the idea of inheriting stuff while she's young because I'll die soon anyway

I’m 58 and no it wasn’t easy, at that time I didn’t know how to remodel them, it was trial and error. Now I can do everything on one but can’t motivate myself to do it.

I already pointed out you can probably shoot them in the face legally in self defense because of all the murderers, robbers and rapists pretending to be cops or who actually are dirty cops.

Michael Corleone was able to kill that one important police officer because he was a dirty cop - in bed with white organized crime - and the Corleones had a person in the media t ...[text shortened]... cop. Avon does that to a guard who was disrespectful to one of his friends.

Many possibilities!
Some of these ICE Agents are probably smuggling drugs or weapons. Their business associates should report them to the authorities. It's not snitching if it's a dirty cop. Avon does that to a guard who was disrespectful to one of his friends.

Ryan O'Reilly did this in Oz too

Lyrics from "Sic them younguns on em" by Ice Cube:

F* with the Godfather
See what ya get...

...Godfather, n*, I pull the strings
Do what I tell 'em, buy what I sell 'em
Puppet master, I'm Jim Henson...

...you ain't gotta fight
When you got that cheddar...

...Don't get mad cause my hands are clean
I'm the King, never fleein' the scene...

Don't you worry if you need the courage
Y'all mfers know where you heard it
"Gangsta, gangsta" thank me now
Rap god n*, please take a bow...

...Thurston Howell, will get you merked
Come to the boss if you need some work...

... I will revert
Back to the old days, back to the old ways
Back to the AK's fing up doorways...

...Don't you worry
I am not the shooter
I am a fing computer
with a whole army of boosters...

...Now, if you wanna get slimy
Look at all the grimey
N*s all behind me now
You don't wanna go to war...

I'll probably end up with some 30-something woman who is "feeling her biological clock". I'll run into her while she's ovulating, probably after her boyfriend pissed her off.

Or I'll be single until I die. That might happen too.
If I'm lucky she'll be bisexual upset because her girlfriend can't get her pregnant

That would be hot

That is the American dream! The trade up model still works, but starter homes even in the Midwest are a half million to buy. Without help from wealthy parents, this is now a passing dream until you've accumulated enough savings which for some is in their 40s.

If you have a 60 hour a week job doing something other than real estate, who has time to go to auctions? They are riddled with professional property managers who own a hundred rentals. Unless real estate is your job, it's nearly impossible for a young family to compete in the market.

Prices are higher now, making it harder but still cheaper. You can build a metal building part shop and part house for a little under $30 a square foot. They look no different inside, get a small piece of land. You can get a new 1200 or 1300 sf brick house here for around 350,000. I’ve bought a couple off the court house steps in the past, you can also talk to a realtor about foreclosure homes that need fixed up. I worked 60 plus hours a week in the restaurant business and on my day or days off I remodeled and flipped houses and had an eBay store that was time consuming.

I get it. Your a real estate speculator. But a young family with few assets needing a home to raise their kids? You would outbid them.

Did I mention I was young then and had four children to help raise, I understand that. I’m just saying if you put the work in, don’t buy new cars, insurance, cable, cell phones every upgrade, eat at home, etc and live cheap it’s possible. Add up what these things come up to a month and what a cheap house payment would be that doesn’t lose money through depreciation.

"Then" is the key word. Bad politics and deregulation changed things. I think things have changed for the worse. Especially among those who don't have real estate speculation as a profession.

As a young kid, saving 50k to buy a home is very difficult. It's not about phone upgrades.
