She came from Somalia as a teen, got a college education courtesy of the USA, the citizens were good enough to take her in and elect her to congress, and she has never had a good thing to say about America since.
Maybe she'd like it better back in Somalia?

So what are you saying? Is this not just a news report? Did you leave out her aligning the USA with terrorist countries in committing atrocities?
And hey, Duchess..........You don’t have to tell us that she is a non-white Muslim woman. I would know that if I just saw her shadow behind a window screen 100 yards off.

The racism is Sooooooooooooooo bad here, they flock in from everywhere, and many times BREAK in. See: the southern border.

Start deporting them, and see how fast that badmouthing the US changes.

The editorial is very biased towards 'right wingers' and others. That is basically fine - so what, who cares. It's just not interesting content.

I liked this part:

Omar noted that the US had opposed ICC investigations into potential crimes committed in Palestine and Afghanistan and asked how victims of war crimes are supposed go for justice if domestic courts won’t pursue justice. Blinken replied with an evasive answer, saying the US and Israel “both have the mechanisms to make sure that there is accountability in any situations where there are concerns about the use of force and human rights”.

Blinken is Jewish, and he has long had interest in Israel:

He attended Harvard University, where he edited the daily student newspaper and co-edited the weekly art magazine. While working for the Harvard Crimson, Blinken wrote several articles about Israel. When the First Lebanon War began, Blinken wrote a column titled “Lebanon and the Facts,” criticizing some of the press for “anti-Israeli rhetoric becomes venomous, hateful.” He said the Village Voice comparison of Israel to the Nazis was “dead wrong and repugnant.”

Moreover:

Following the Sabra and Shatila massacre, he wrote, “Israel is not, has never been, nor will ever be the irreproachable, perfectly moral state some of its supporters would like to see. Israelis are, after all, only human. Still, one pedestal the Jewish state can stand on — and stand on alone in the Middle East – is that of a democracy.”

Keep in mind, this man is an American liberal who has a history of working with Biden... and look at his suggestion here:

In the years following the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq, Blinken assisted Biden in formulating a proposal in the Senate to establish in Iraq three independent regions divided along ethnic or sectarian lines: a "Shiastan" in the south, a "Sunnistan" in the north, as well as Iraqi Kurdistan. The proposal was overwhelmingly rejected at home, as well as in Iraq, where the prime minister opposed the partition plan.[31]

That's actually quite interesting. Not an illogical proposal, either, but an impractical one.

Maybe you should read the post. She asks for equal accountability. There’s nothing anti-Semitic in that. Nothing inherently anti-American.

But by the reactions here, it sounds like she’s being judged for her religious beliefs or clothes. Which is all pretty tragic and very telling about you.

In Scotland??? A person of color need not apply. Quite discriminatory, i would think.
