shag doody, there was voter fraud, the only question: Was it enough to influence the outcome. Obviously the goal is to eliminate voter fraud. I'm no fan of democracy unless it is severely constrained, along the lines of the plebs can vote on what colour to paint the whitehouse this year and not how deep they can get their hand in their fellow citizens pocket.

Same day voting is not practicable in a nation with a voter population the size of America. Moreover, nothing in the constitution mandates that the result must be declared on the same day as the votes are cast. Trump is, as always, simply making things up.

The question has already been answered and does not need to be asked again. Trump lost fair and square. There was no voter fraud on a scale which would have tipped the result in any state of the union. Stop whining about it.

Some day voting makes it easier to block certain people from voting for a few hours until polls close.

In-person voting also makes it easier to intimidate people, for example by posting armed militias nearby. Mail-in ballots are immune to this.
