Today was (thankfully) a repeat of April. Iran felt it was bound to avenge Haniyeh and Nasrallah. It was probably more about Haniyeh, since that was on Iranian soil.
Whatever Israel does, I hope it's surgical, such as a low profile taking out of a missile defense system like last time.
So, while we're one step closer to open war between Israel and Iran, the part about Hezbollah being partially neutralized and Iran not having much of a proxy left stands.

For the last 50 years Israel has been forcing Palestinians off their land, occupying and illegally using it to create settlements that exclusively house Jewish Israeli settlers

If Arabs were content to live in peace there would be no need for terrorism. Their problem is that they want no Jewish government in Palestine. They want it all, and would rather die than live with the Jews next to them. So they are going to die.
