@Metal-Brain saidShould we publicize the debate, or just do it, avoiding any extranious voyeurs and eavesdroppers?
So you have given up debating. Good to know. You are defending a loser so you are one too.
Iran is winning the war. Trump is a liar who thinks the media telling the truth is treason. Losing bigly.
@AverageJoe1 saidOh, are you set up to defend the fact Trump said on TV journalists should be executed for treason.
Should we publicize the debate, or just do it, avoiding any extranious voyeurs and eavesdroppers?

@Cliff-Mashburn saidLaughable.
@Metal-Brain
Like saying Germany was the victim of aggression during WW2.
Trump compared this war to the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor today.
@no1marauder saidI don't mind that, Iran didn't deserve a formal declaraation of war. They have been conducting a war against Europe, the USA, and the rest of the world since their criminal theocratic govt took over in 1979, not to mention what they've done to their own citizns.
Laughable.

@AverageJoe1 saidDid you miss this part or do you consider yourself to be part of this policy ready to strike at anyone dumb enough to diss your lord and Emporer Trump.

The Trump administration is escalating threats against media outlets. In a post Sunday, President Trump said news organizations should face treason charges for disseminating false information. FCC Chair Brendan Carr has also threatened to revoke broadcasters’ licenses over their coverage of the U.S.-Israeli war in Iran. Carr wrote online, quote, “Broadcasters that are running hoaxes and news distortions — also known as the fake news — have a chance now to correct course before their license renewals come up,” unquote.

That is not true. Cite a single example.
@sonhouse saidDid not get your first paragraph, hard to keep up. Secondly, if a media disseminate false information, they should be shut down.

finally, I don’t know what you meant with your last paragraph. You sure fo write funny. Why don’t you just start with a nice fresh sentence and say something that you mean without your lambasting and your pontificating and your announcing and you’re projecting?
Makes for better reading. Thank you.

@AverageJoe1 saidHay propagandist, They are not after truth, they want to SUPRESS truth about what is going on in this FKING war.

So he contemplates sending a few thousand troops to Iran to straighten out those subhuman Iraners not knowing or refusing to believe Iran has a MILLION MAN army so if Trump really does send a couple thousand troops there will be massive deaths on our side followed by a quick retreat or stay and fight making it Trumps Alamo.
I bet you REALLY love Trumps work to fix the next elections, like the bit he pulled on Texas, telling them to redistrict, gerrymandering an area giving them 4 seats in the house. So California retaliated with the same but for Dems.
Now its attempting to make mail in voting illegal and other tricks to stop people from voting, like ICE "monitors" which is really just plain old intimidation.
But Trump WILL do all of the above and maybe MUCH more to keep himself and repubs in power which they KNOW they will NOT be in power in a free election so they are in ABSOLUTE fact trying to rig it so democracy is a thing of the past.
@Metal-Brain saidCliff. Make it clever, as we enjoy humor. Don’t put him down personally, not gentleman -like.

@Metal-Brain said"TERRORISM - the calculated use of violence to create a general climate of fear in a population and thereby to bring about a particular political objective."
I don't believe I have used the term terrorism incorrectly. Both the USA and Israel are seeking regime change. That is a political objective. Trump is a terrorist. So is Netanyahu if he is still alive.
I pointed out before on this forum that the term narco terrorism is not really terrorism because of the lack of political objective. But nobody in congress brought it u ...[text shortened]... n. All so a bunch of rich people can profit from higher oil prices. They get richer while we suffer.
Metal Brain:
"I challenge you to prove I used the words terrorism and terrorist incorrectly using the definition you posted."
- You are using the burden of proof incorrectly. If you assert that Trump is a terrorist, it is you who has to prove - demonstrate, that Trump's actions and words correspond to the definition above.
My "proof" is simply that it seems you did not show, for example, that Trump's aim of using violence is to create a general climate of fear (among the Iranians, for example).
But I do not assert that this claim is false.

By supplying Hezbollah when this country invaded Lebanon?
By having the gall to not surrender when this country aided Iraq's invasion of Iran?
By having their civilian airliner get in the way of missiles fired by the US Navy?
By helping militias in Iraq when the US invaded that country?
Do tell and describe how a sneak attack during ongoing negotiations is the act of anything but low life cowards.

To give a chess analogy:
Trump, who can’t see two steps in front of his nose, has got his king unprotected in the centre of the board. As a result of this rank stupidity he is now desperately bawling for help because he cannot see any way out of certain defeat. As Richard III opined: “A horse, a horse, a kingdom for a horse”.
