He had his chance. And after all, he is happier now scamming people about 'global warming'

hope we don't have another global warming thread.

moving on, al gore may be a bit of a hypocrite but don't dismiss the things he said just because he is obnoxious.

i dislike bush but i didn't dismiss some of the things he said like... err...hmm. actually i can't find anything he said useful. it seems that i dislike bush as much as right wing nutjobs dislike gore. oh well i will go hide in shame of my bigotry.

If Gore had run, he would have won ...easily.

Al Gore is a crazy man -- he thinks the sky is falling but still continues to fly private jets around the world to rock concerts and lives in a 29,000 square foot compound that he had to destroy a forest to build.

He did run and America said otherwise.

I guess you think he should have taken a sailboat instead of flying?

Give me a break DSR. No environmentalist worth a damn ever said we should give up planes and cars ffs. Quit the hyberbole. Your arguments are worthless.

Yawn.

Global warming isn't a scam. It's real. Our best science says so.

Anyway, substituting Al Gore this late in the game? He hasn't even campaigned in a single primary. I mean, I always knew Democrats were good at losing, but seriously...

Well to be fair, it wasn't America, but rather the electoral college.

I don't think so.
What makes Gore so attractive to some now is the fact that he hasn't been involved in the very protracted primary process. Stick him in the midst of that and put him up against Clinton and Obama over the long term and I think the story might be a little different.

Actually America said 'Yes,' but the courts said, 'No.'

I don't think pinch-hitting Gore would help the Dems at all, except perhaps to give a slightly better showing in the general election. Like Hillary, Gore is too shrill and divisive. McCain would still win, but Gore would make it closer than Hill or Barrack. McCain won this one while Obama was stepping on his penis making that speech where he tried to explain away his pastor/church. Who'd have thunk it? I know I never would have guessed the Maverick from AZ would do it--and he did it without lifting a finger! He just stumbled in and watched the other guy self-destruct.

Actually America said No. If he had won his home state then he would have won the electoral votes. Hmmm. Maybe Tennessee knows something better.

Shifting the rudder, (just say "no" to the voter recount & global warming re-thread) Gore running in 2008 would not help the Dem's. He was in the White House for all the Clinton scams, and chose to do nothing about it, worst yet, got in bed (pun intended) and supported the Clintons.

I would not vote for someone with such a weak spine.

So minus global warming awareness, what has he done?
